Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Development Director Jobs at Veeva Systems Jobs
Align your credentials with LCA-filed job titles
Veeva files Labor Condition Applications with the DOL before sponsoring any role. Check FLAG.dol.gov to see which Development Director job titles Veeva has used historically, then mirror that exact language in your resume and cover materials.
Target Veeva's vertical-specific product teams
Development Director openings at Veeva tend to cluster around Vault, Veeva CRM, and commercial cloud products. Positioning your leadership experience around regulated-industry software delivery, not generic SaaS, makes you a stronger match before your application reaches a recruiter.
Clarify your visa category before the offer stage
Veeva sponsors several visa types for this role. If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm with the recruiter early whether your OPT end date gives Veeva enough runway to file an H-1B petition before your authorization lapses, since the April cap-subject filing window is fixed.
Understand how TN eligibility applies to this role
Canadian and Mexican nationals applying for Development Director positions can pursue TN status if the role qualifies under a covered USMCA profession. Confirm with Veeva's immigration counsel that the specific job duties map to a qualifying TN category before assuming eligibility.
Use Migrate Mate to identify active Development Director openings
Sponsorship-eligible Development Director roles at Veeva don't all surface on general job boards with visa filters. Use Migrate Mate to search Veeva's current openings filtered by visa type, so you're targeting roles where sponsorship is already confirmed rather than guessing from job descriptions.
Prepare for PERM if you're on a long-term Green Card path
For EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship, Veeva must run a PERM labor certification through the DOL before filing your immigrant petition. This process can take one to two years, so raise your long-term intent with your hiring manager and immigration contact early in the offer negotiation.

Which visa types does Veeva Systems commonly use for Development Director roles?
Veeva sponsors a range of visa categories for Development Director positions, including H-1B, H-1B1 for Chilean and Singaporean nationals, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals, F-1 OPT and CPT for recent graduates, and EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa categories for candidates pursuing a Green Card. The right category depends on your nationality, degree, and long-term authorization goals.
What qualifications does Veeva Systems expect for Development Director roles?
Veeva typically expects Development Director candidates to have a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field, combined with substantial experience leading engineering teams in enterprise or regulated-industry software environments. You can browse active Development Director openings at Veeva Systems through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm eligibility before applying. How do I plan my timeline if Veeva is sponsoring my H-1B as a Development Director?
If you need a new H-1B, Veeva must file the petition during the cap-subject registration window, which opens in March each year for an October 1 start date. If you're already H-1B exempt or transferring from another H-1B employer, Veeva can file anytime. Build at least three to four months of runway between your offer acceptance and your intended start date to account for USCIS processing.
