Frame your expertise around life sciences verticals
Veeva Strategy Directors typically own go-to-market or expansion work within specific industry verticals like biopharma, clinical, or regulatory. Tailor your resume to show domain depth in at least one of these, not just general SaaS strategy experience.
Target roles tied to Veeva Vault or Veeva CRM
Strategy Director openings at Veeva cluster around its core product lines. Applying to roles attached to a named product signals product-market fit and helps recruiters slot you into the right sponsorship pipeline faster than a generalist application would.
Account for LCA timing in your start date negotiation
Your employer must file a certified Labor Condition Application with the DOL before your H-1B petition can be submitted. Build at least a few weeks of LCA processing time into your expected start date to avoid a rushed or delayed filing.
Use Migrate Mate to identify open Strategy Director listings
Strategy Director roles at Veeva appear across multiple product and regional teams and don't always stay open long. Use Migrate Mate to filter verified sponsorship-eligible listings at Veeva and track new openings as they're posted.
Prepare a portfolio of cross-functional initiative outcomes
Veeva's strategy function works closely with sales, product, and customer success. Document two or three examples where you drove a cross-functional initiative to a measurable business outcome, which is exactly what interviewers probe for at this level.

Find Strategy Director at Veeva Systems JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Veeva Systems sponsor H-1B visas for Strategy Directors?
Yes, Veeva Systems sponsors H-1B visas for Strategy Director roles. The company has an established sponsorship track record across its technology and go-to-market functions, and Strategy Director positions fall within that scope. You'll want to confirm sponsorship eligibility for your specific role and team during the offer stage, as not every opening carries the same timeline or filing structure.
Which visa types are commonly used for Strategy Director roles at Veeva Systems?
Veeva sponsors several visa categories relevant to Strategy Directors, including the H-1B, H-1B1 for Chilean and Singaporean nationals, TN for Canadian and Mexican professionals, and F-1 OPT and CPT for candidates currently in university programs. Longer-term pathways like EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship are also available, typically initiated after an initial nonimmigrant visa period.
What qualifications or experience are expected for a Strategy Director at Veeva Systems?
Veeva Strategy Directors are generally expected to bring deep familiarity with life sciences industry workflows, including how biopharma, biotech, or medtech companies buy and implement enterprise software. A background in management consulting, product strategy, or enterprise SaaS is common. Experience driving go-to-market or expansion strategies within a specific vertical, rather than generalist business development, tends to differentiate competitive candidates at this level.
How do I apply for Strategy Director jobs at Veeva Systems?
You can browse and apply for Strategy Director openings at Veeva Systems through Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa sponsorship eligibility so you can confirm the role supports your status before applying. Veeva's Strategy Director roles are spread across product lines and regions, so searching by product area or geography helps narrow the field. Tailoring your application to the specific vertical the role serves significantly improves your chances of moving through screening.
How do I plan my timeline if I need H-1B sponsorship for a Strategy Director role at Veeva?
The H-1B cap lottery runs once per year, with registrations typically opening in March and the earliest possible start date of October 1. If you're not currently in H-1B status, you'll need to be selected in the lottery before Veeva can file your petition. F-1 OPT holders can often bridge this gap with an OPT extension or STEM OPT, which provides up to 36 months of authorized work while awaiting H-1B selection.
