Frame your portfolio around analytics delivery
Tiger Analytics staffs Business Consultants on client-facing analytics projects, not generalist strategy work. Before applying, reorganize your case studies to highlight measurable outcomes you drove using data, tools like Python or SQL, and cross-functional stakeholder management.
Confirm E-Verify enrollment before accepting offers
As a federal contractor, Tiger Analytics is required to use E-Verify. If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your enrollment status matches your I-20 employer details exactly before your start date to avoid authorization delays.
Target roles aligned with active client verticals
Tiger Analytics concentrates Business Consultant hiring around technology and software sector engagements. Applications tied to relevant domain experience, such as product analytics or SaaS go-to-market strategy, align with where open roles are actually staffed.
Understand the H-1B cap timeline before signing
If you need cap-subject H-1B sponsorship, Tiger Analytics must register you in the March lottery. Offers extended outside that window typically convert to an October 1 start, so negotiate your transition plan with HR well in advance.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open Business Consultant positions
Tiger Analytics posts Business Consultant openings across multiple channels, and roles fill quickly. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Tiger Analytics positions that list visa sponsorship so you're applying to live, sponsorship-confirmed openings.
Ask about PERM eligibility during offer negotiation
Tiger Analytics sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards for eligible employees. During the offer stage, ask directly whether the Business Consultant role qualifies for PERM and what the typical tenure requirement is before the employer initiates the process.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Tiger Analytics sponsor H-1B visas for Business Consultants?
Yes, Tiger Analytics sponsors H-1B visas for Business Consultant roles. Cap-subject candidates need to be registered in the annual USCIS H-1B lottery, which opens in March for an October 1 start. If you're already in H-1B visa status with another employer, Tiger Analytics can file an H-1B transfer without waiting for the cap, allowing you to start sooner.
How do I apply for Business Consultant jobs at Tiger Analytics?
You can search for Business Consultant openings directly on the Tiger Analytics careers page or use Migrate Mate to browse confirmed sponsorship-eligible roles. Tailor your application to analytics delivery experience relevant to technology and software clients. Roles move quickly, so applying within the first week of a posting going live gives you a stronger shot at early screening.
Which visa types does Tiger Analytics commonly use for Business Consultant roles?
Tiger Analytics sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN visa, and EB-2/EB-3 Green Card pathways for Business Consultants. F-1 OPT is common for recent graduates entering the role, while H-1B is the primary long-term work authorization path. TN visa sponsorship is available for Canadian and Mexican nationals whose roles qualify under the USMCA professional categories.
What qualifications does Tiger Analytics expect for Business Consultant positions?
Tiger Analytics typically looks for candidates with a background in analytics, business strategy, or a quantitative field, along with demonstrated experience translating data insights into client recommendations. Proficiency with analytics tools and exposure to technology or software sector clients strengthens an application. Consulting experience at a professional services firm or in-house analytics team is a common profile for hires at this level.
How long does the sponsorship process take for a Business Consultant at Tiger Analytics?
For F-1 OPT, authorization begins on your OPT start date. H-1B transfers for existing H-1B holders can take two to four months with standard USCIS processing, or a few weeks with premium processing. New cap-subject H-1B petitions follow the lottery cycle, meaning an October 1 start at the earliest. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship is a multi-year process that typically begins after an employee establishes tenure in the role.
