INTRODUCTION
Tiger Analytics is an advanced analytics consulting firm. We are the trusted analytics partner for several Fortune 100 companies, enabling them to generate business value from data. Our consultants bring deep expertise in Data Science, Machine Learning and AI. Our business value and leadership has been recognized by various market research firms, including Forrester and Gartner. We are looking for a business-first, analytically strong consultant who can work directly with business leaders to understand complex decisions, challenge conventional thinking, and rapidly translate business needs into data- and AI-enabled solutions. This is not a traditional requirements-gathering role. The consultant will be expected to understand how the business operates, identify the decisions that matter, determine what information and analysis are needed, and rapidly mobilize AI/Agentic tools, data and specialist teams to solve the problem. The ideal candidate has operated in an environment where they have regularly used data and analysis to support business decisions and is excited about learning and applying emerging AI technologies.
Responsibilities
- Understand the business and the decision: Engage business stakeholders to understand objectives, economics, processes, constraints and the decisions they are trying to make—not simply document stated requirements.
- Challenge and structure problems: Ask the right questions, challenge assumptions and convert ambiguous business issues into clear hypotheses, analyses and decision frameworks.
- Use data to develop insights: Explore and interpret data, conduct rapid analyses, identify patterns and translate findings into business implications and recommendations.
- Rapidly prototype solutions: Use GenAI, Agentic AI, analytics and low-code/no-code tools to rapidly explore ideas, analyze information and develop working prototypes.
- Orchestrate expertise: Recognize when deeper expertise is required and effectively leverage data scientists, engineers, domain experts, product teams and AI agents rather than attempting to build everything independently.
- Drive from insight to action: Communicate findings in simple business language, recommend actions and work with stakeholders to translate recommendations into measurable business outcomes.
- Continuously learn: Rapidly experiment with emerging AI and technology capabilities and identify where they can materially improve business decision-making.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
8-10+ years of experience in business analytics, strategy/management consulting, commercial analytics, operations, supply chain, finance, marketing/customer analytics, product management or a similar decision-oriented business environment. The person should demonstrate:
- Strong business curiosity and problem-solving ability
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders and senior leaders
- Strong analytical orientation and comfort working hands-on with data
- Ability to move from business question → hypothesis → analysis → insight → decision/action
- Ability to challenge stakeholders constructively rather than simply accepting requirements
- Comfort operating with ambiguity and solving loosely defined problems
- Strong written, verbal and executive communication skills
- Working familiarity with analytical tools such as Excel, SQL, BI/visualization tools and/or Python
- Strong interest and hands-on aptitude with GenAI, AI agents and emerging productivity/development tools
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly without needing to be a deep software engineer
- Ability to bring together business, analytics, technology and specialist teams to deliver solutions rapidly
BENEFITS
Significant career development opportunities exist as the company grows. The position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a small, fast-growing, challenging and entrepreneurial environment, with a high degree of individual responsibility.
Tiger Analytics provides equal employment opportunities to applicants and employees without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, pregnancy, national origin, ancestry, marital status, protected veteran status, disability status, or any other basis as protected by federal, state, or local law.

Frame your analytics portfolio around client outcomes
Tiger Analytics hires Analytics Leads who can own delivery end-to-end. Structure your portfolio around measurable business impact, not just technical methods. Consulting-style case studies that show stakeholder management alongside modeling work resonate strongly in their interview process.
Verify your credentials meet specialty occupation standards
For H-1B eligibility, USCIS requires your degree to directly correspond to the Analytics Lead role. A degree in statistics, data science, computer science, or a related quantitative field positions your application cleanly. Gaps between your degree field and the role description create RFE risk.
Target Tiger Analytics openings through Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Analytics Lead openings at Tiger Analytics by visa type so you only apply to roles where sponsorship is confirmed. This saves time and ensures you're not pursuing positions where sponsorship availability is ambiguous.
Align your application timing with H-1B cap deadlines
If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your OPT end date before your first interview. Tiger Analytics files H-1B petitions in the April cap season, so an offer in late fall or winter typically means bridging on OPT extension through the October 1 start date.
Clarify which entity files your Labor Condition Application
Tiger Analytics operates across multiple client sites. Before signing an offer, confirm which legal entity is listed as your employer on the LCA filed with DOL, and that the prevailing wage covers the actual work location, not just a headquarters address.
Prepare for a PERM-track conversation early in negotiations
Tiger Analytics sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards for Analytics Leads, but PERM recruitment timelines typically run 12 to 18 months before the I-140 stage. Ask during the offer stage whether PERM sponsorship is included and when the clock starts.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Tiger Analytics sponsor H-1B visas for Analytics Leads?
Yes, Tiger Analytics sponsors H-1B visas for Analytics Lead roles. The company participates in the annual H-1B cap lottery, so if you're on F-1 OPT, timing your offer relative to the April registration window matters. Tiger Analytics also sponsors H-1B transfers for candidates already holding an approved H-1B with another employer, which bypasses the lottery entirely.
How do I apply for Analytics Lead jobs at Tiger Analytics?
Applications go through Tiger Analytics's careers portal, but roles with confirmed visa sponsorship are easier to identify through Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for sponsored positions. When applying, tailor your resume to reflect end-to-end analytics delivery and client engagement, since Tiger Analytics evaluates Analytics Leads on both technical depth and consulting-style communication skills.
What visa types does Tiger Analytics commonly use for Analytics Lead roles?
Tiger Analytics sponsors H-1B, TN visa, F-1 OPT, and F-1 CPT visas for Analytics Lead roles, and also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship for longer-term employees. TN visas apply to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying roles. F-1 CPT is typically used for internship or co-op engagements rather than full-time Analytics Lead positions.
What qualifications does Tiger Analytics expect for Analytics Lead roles?
Tiger Analytics generally expects a graduate degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, data science, applied mathematics, or computer science, combined with hands-on experience leading analytics projects in a consulting or technology environment. Strong candidates demonstrate proficiency in Python or R, experience with cloud data platforms, and the ability to translate analytical outputs into business recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for an Analytics Lead offer at Tiger Analytics?
Timeline depends on visa type. H-1B cap cases have a fixed start date of October 1, so offers made outside the April registration window require bridging on existing status. H-1B transfers can proceed year-round and USCIS typically processes standard petitions within three to four months, or two to three weeks with premium processing. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship runs considerably longer, often two years or more from initiation to I-140 approval.
