We’re looking for a Principal, Data & AI Systems Lead to join Intuit’s Marketing Futures Team, a group embedded in our broader marketing organization tasked with defining, piloting, and scaling AI‑enabled and future‑oriented marketing capabilities. You will build AI‑powered automation workflows, predictive analytics frameworks, and performance dashboards that supercharge marketing efficiency and effectiveness. You’ll work at the intersection of data science, marketing operations, and AI tool integration, partnering closely with product managers, engineers, channel teams, and the broader marketing org to operationalize intelligent automation. We are looking for a data‑driven marketer who is an avid learner, experimenter, and builder ready to wire the marketing org for the AI era.
Responsibilities
- Design and build AI‑powered marketing automation workflows that streamline campaign operations: automated creative testing, budget optimization, predictive bidding.
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards and analytics frameworks that provide leadership visibility into AI adoption rates, time savings, cost savings, and performance lift.
- Strategically oversee the Marketing AI Lighthouse pilot portfolio, partnering with cross-functional leadership to architect, validate, and transition high-impact AI pilots into enterprise-scale marketing capabilities.
- Integrate AI tools and platforms with the core marketing tech stack to orchestrate high-concurrency workflows that drive measurable lift in customer acquisition and operational velocity.
- Partner with marketing technology, product, engineering and data science teams to operationalize customer segmentation models, first-party data strategies, and AI‑driven personalization at scale across the customer experience.
- Build automated reporting pipelines that quantify the impact of Marketing Futures pilots: tracking adoption, time-to-launch, and performance against baselines.
- Develop and maintain internal automation playbooks and toolkits that enable channel teams to self-serve proven AI workflows.
- Collaborate with the Head of Marketing Futures to identify high-impact automation use cases and transition proven solutions to partner teams.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in marketing analytics, marketing operations, or data-driven growth marketing, with at least 3 years building AI‑powered automation workflows.
- Proven track record of architecting and deploying production-grade automation infrastructure on GCP/AWS/Azure that scales AI workflows across global marketing organizations.
- Strong proficiency in data modeling, customer segmentation, and analytics tools (e.g., GA4, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Adobe Gen Studio, Adobe Analytics, Customer Data platforms).
- Hands-on experience integrating AI tools into marketing tech stacks; comfort working with APIs, ADKs/SDKs, and platform AI capabilities.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, or similar for data analysis and automation scripting; experience with no-code/low-code platforms (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) is required.
- Experience building dashboards and attribution models; strong understanding of marketing measurement, incrementality testing, and performance metrics.
- Track record of working cross-functionally with product, engineering, data scientists, and marketing channel owners.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in fintech, SaaS, or regulated industries is a plus.

Tips for Finding AI Data Engineer Jobs at Intuit
Align your portfolio to Intuit's AI stack
Intuit's AI work centers on financial data, natural language processing, and predictive modeling for products like TurboTax and QuickBooks. Tailor your GitHub projects and case studies to show experience with production ML pipelines and large-scale data systems, not just exploratory notebooks.
Target roles labeled AI or ML explicitly
Intuit posts AI Data Engineer roles separately from general data engineering positions. Applying to the right requisition matters because sponsorship eligibility and the hiring team's familiarity with visa workflows differ across departments.
Raise sponsorship requirements early in recruiter screens
Intuit's technical recruiting team handles sponsorship questions at the offer stage, but confirming upfront that the role supports your visa type saves weeks. Ask directly whether the position is eligible for H-1B transfer or new cap-subject filing.
Use Migrate Mate to identify active AI Data Engineer openings
Intuit's sponsorship-eligible roles don't always stay open long. Use Migrate Mate to filter current AI Data Engineer postings at Intuit by visa type so you're applying to live roles that already match your authorization needs.
Prepare degree equivalency documentation before the offer stage
USCIS requires a specialty occupation showing for H-1B petitions. If your AI or computer science degree is from outside the U.S., get a credential evaluation from a NACES-approved evaluator before Intuit's immigration counsel begins the I-129 process.
Understand Intuit's PERM timeline if you're targeting permanent residence
For EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship, DOL's PERM labor certification typically takes 12 to 18 months before the I-140 petition stage. Confirm during negotiations whether Intuit initiates PERM for AI Data Engineer roles and at what career level.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Intuit sponsor H-1B visas for AI Data Engineers?
Yes, Intuit sponsors H-1B visas for AI Data Engineer roles. The company works with immigration counsel to file both cap-subject petitions and H-1B transfers for candidates already holding H-1B status. Sponsorship is typically initiated after an offer is extended, so confirming your visa needs early in the process with the recruiter avoids delays at the offer stage.
How do I apply for AI Data Engineer jobs at Intuit?
Apply directly through Intuit's careers site or use Migrate Mate to filter AI Data Engineer openings at Intuit by visa sponsorship type. Before applying, align your resume to Intuit's documented technical priorities, including ML pipeline development, large-scale data infrastructure, and AI feature work tied to financial products. Tailor your application to the specific product area the role supports.
Which visa types does Intuit commonly sponsor for AI Data Engineer roles?
Intuit sponsors a range of visa categories for AI Data Engineers, including H-1B, E-3 visa for Australian citizens, TN visa for Canadian and Mexican nationals, and F-1 OPT and CPT for students nearing graduation. For longer-term permanent residence, Intuit also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process for qualifying employees.
What qualifications does Intuit expect for AI Data Engineer candidates?
Intuit typically looks for a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data engineering, statistics, or a related field. Hands-on experience with distributed data systems, ML model deployment, and cloud infrastructure is expected. For USCIS H-1B specialty occupation purposes, the degree field should align directly with the technical scope of the role, not just the job title.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take once Intuit extends an offer?
For H-1B cap-subject filings, Intuit must submit the petition during the April filing window for an October 1 start date. If you already hold H-1B status with another employer, a transfer can allow you to start within two to three weeks of filing under portability rules. E-3 and TN processing through a U.S. consulate typically runs faster, often within a few weeks of filing.
