The Legal Solutions & Strategy team is looking for a Senior Technical Data & AI Enablement Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Technical Data & AI Enablement Analyst, you will be part of a smart, collaborative team focused on modernizing how Intuit's legal function leverages data, automation, and AI. In this role you will work closely with legal operations, counsel, engineering, and other internal stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities where data insights and AI-powered tools can make legal and compliance workflows faster, smarter, and more efficient. You will help evaluate, implement, and optimize AI and technology solutions, build reporting and dashboards that surface actionable insights, and drive business requirements and process improvements across the legal organization. The role requires a self-motivated individual with strong analytical and interpersonal skills who excels in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and continuously improve dashboards and reporting that give LCPO (Legal, Compliance & Policy Org) stakeholders real-time visibility into portfolio health, initiative progress, tool adoption, workflow performance, and capacity.
- Track success metrics and anchor metrics across LCPO strategic initiatives — including AI-assisted reviews, contract lifecycle management, workflow enablement, and the Knowledge Management System — so every workstream has trackable, data-backed outcomes.
- Contribute to the LCPO Data Lake ecosystem by building and monitoring data pipelines, supporting usage tracking and governance, and coordinating with FLP Tech (Finance, Legal & Privacy Tech) data engineers on requirements.
- Support and scale AI enablement across LCPO workflows, helping evaluate, implement, and optimize AI-powered tools (e.g., AI-assisted review, agentic AI, and AI assistants embedded in team support channels).
- Replace manual, repetitive reporting with automated, bot-driven reports and pipelines, reducing turnaround from days to minutes.
- Conduct ad hoc and structured analyses to surface bottlenecks, identify problem areas, and provide data-driven insights into current processes and decisions.
- Support annual and FY planning cycles with clean, timely data on initiative performance, team activity, resource utilization, and capacity inputs.
- Partner with product owners, architects, and data engineers to communicate data needs and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Help enable and upskill other data analysts across the LCPO org, advocating alignment with LCPO data standards, governance, and self-serve analytics practices.
- Drive business requirements and process improvements across legal workflows, leading change management for new tools and dashboards, including stakeholder communication, training, and adoption tracking.
Qualifications
- BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a data analytics or analytical role, ideally supporting a legal, compliance, operations, or comparable business function.
- Proficiency with data analysis and business intelligence tools (e.g.Tableau, Quicksight, Qliksense, Excel, Looker, or Google Sheets) and demonstrated ability to build and maintain dashboards that surface actionable insights.
- Hands-on experience with the AWS suite (e.g., S3, SES, data lake services) and cloud-based data infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines (BPP pipelines etc) and contributing to a data lake/warehouse ecosystem, including data pulls, quality, and governance.
- Experience with version control and collaborative development workflows using GitHub (e.g., repositories, branching, pull requests).
- Working knowledge of SQL (e.g., Databricks SQL, Athena, BigQuery) and comfort querying, joining, and transforming data from multiple sources.
- Familiarity with AI and automation tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT) and a demonstrated interest in applying them to make workflows faster and smarter (experience with agentic AI, LLM-based assistants, or workflow automation platforms such as Tonkean is a plus).
- Strong ability to define and track success and anchor metrics, and to translate business questions into measurable analytical outputs.

Tips for Finding AI Data Engineer Jobs at Intuit
Align your portfolio to Intuit's AI stack
Intuit's AI work centers on financial data, natural language processing, and predictive modeling for products like TurboTax and QuickBooks. Tailor your GitHub projects and case studies to show experience with production ML pipelines and large-scale data systems, not just exploratory notebooks.
Target roles labeled AI or ML explicitly
Intuit posts AI Data Engineer roles separately from general data engineering positions. Applying to the right requisition matters because sponsorship eligibility and the hiring team's familiarity with visa workflows differ across departments.
Raise sponsorship requirements early in recruiter screens
Intuit's technical recruiting team handles sponsorship questions at the offer stage, but confirming upfront that the role supports your visa type saves weeks. Ask directly whether the position is eligible for H-1B transfer or new cap-subject filing.
Use Migrate Mate to identify active AI Data Engineer openings
Intuit's sponsorship-eligible roles don't always stay open long. Use Migrate Mate to filter current AI Data Engineer postings at Intuit by visa type so you're applying to live roles that already match your authorization needs.
Prepare degree equivalency documentation before the offer stage
USCIS requires a specialty occupation showing for H-1B petitions. If your AI or computer science degree is from outside the U.S., get a credential evaluation from a NACES-approved evaluator before Intuit's immigration counsel begins the I-129 process.
Understand Intuit's PERM timeline if you're targeting permanent residence
For EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship, DOL's PERM labor certification typically takes 12 to 18 months before the I-140 petition stage. Confirm during negotiations whether Intuit initiates PERM for AI Data Engineer roles and at what career level.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Intuit sponsor H-1B visas for AI Data Engineers?
Yes, Intuit sponsors H-1B visas for AI Data Engineer roles. The company works with immigration counsel to file both cap-subject petitions and H-1B transfers for candidates already holding H-1B status. Sponsorship is typically initiated after an offer is extended, so confirming your visa needs early in the process with the recruiter avoids delays at the offer stage.
How do I apply for AI Data Engineer jobs at Intuit?
Apply directly through Intuit's careers site or use Migrate Mate to filter AI Data Engineer openings at Intuit by visa sponsorship type. Before applying, align your resume to Intuit's documented technical priorities, including ML pipeline development, large-scale data infrastructure, and AI feature work tied to financial products. Tailor your application to the specific product area the role supports.
Which visa types does Intuit commonly sponsor for AI Data Engineer roles?
Intuit sponsors a range of visa categories for AI Data Engineers, including H-1B, E-3 visa for Australian citizens, TN visa for Canadian and Mexican nationals, and F-1 OPT and CPT for students nearing graduation. For longer-term permanent residence, Intuit also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process for qualifying employees.
What qualifications does Intuit expect for AI Data Engineer candidates?
Intuit typically looks for a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data engineering, statistics, or a related field. Hands-on experience with distributed data systems, ML model deployment, and cloud infrastructure is expected. For USCIS H-1B specialty occupation purposes, the degree field should align directly with the technical scope of the role, not just the job title.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take once Intuit extends an offer?
For H-1B cap-subject filings, Intuit must submit the petition during the April filing window for an October 1 start date. If you already hold H-1B status with another employer, a transfer can allow you to start within two to three weeks of filing under portability rules. E-3 and TN processing through a U.S. consulate typically runs faster, often within a few weeks of filing.
