Overview
Intuit’s Consumer Group (CG) is seeking a visionary Staff Marketing Manager of SEO/GEO Content to serve as a key strategic contributor within the TurboTax SEO/GEO team. In the new landscape of AI-driven search, content has shifted from a marketing tactic to a core strategic asset. In this role, you will ensure that TurboTax is the authoritative source of truth while maximizing discoverability across the category—providing the clarity and confidence customers need to navigate their tax journey.
As a key contributor to content architecture, development, and discovery, you will drive the SEO/GEO content strategy for TurboTax across all media types (articles, video, images, and audio). Your mission is to ensure the brand is the definitive authority for the top consumer tax problems, achieving 100% optimized AI responses. You will balance the immediate priorities of GEO with the authoritative foundations of SEO, ensuring TurboTax leads in a search landscape that has already fundamentally shifted. You will drive the strategy for a dynamic content ecosystem to meet customers wherever they research, from Google to LLMs alike.
Responsibilities
- Drive the TurboTax SEO/GEO Strategic Roadmap: Serve as the Senior strategist for the unification of traditional SEO content generation and "Model Training" dominance. You will drive the operationalization of GEO measurement, analysis, and action, executing strategies to gain a competitive advantage in both "blue link" visibility and LLM presence across all major AI channels.
- Foundational SEO Excellence: Oversee content architecture, including internal linking strategies, metadata optimization, and schema markup. While partnering with technical teams, ensure all content is structured for maximum visibility in both traditional search and AI synthesizers.
- Establish Definitive Authority (Presence, Position, Sentiment): Own the "True North" metrics for TurboTax AI discovery. Ensure content delivers a 100% optimized response, characterized by top-tier brand presence, dominant positioning, and neutral-to-positive sentiment.
- End-to-End Content Operations: Manage the tactical execution of the editorial calendar. This includes CMS publishing, coordinating with tax experts for factual accuracy, and managing agency partners to ensure high-quality content is delivered on time through peak season.
- Strategic Content & Business Impact: Serve as the subject matter expert for the TurboTax content library. Ensure content is optimized not just for traffic, but for high-value business actions including engagement, logins, and product starts.
- Content Generation Velocity: Drive the scaling of enterprise-grade content marketing platforms and AI-based solutions to meet the sheer volume of content required for a multi-channel discovery engine, especially during high-velocity peak tax seasons.
- Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as the primary strategic point of contact for TurboTax SEO/GEO content health, working across Product, Data Engineering, and Marketing to diagnose competitive gaps and act with speed through peak periods.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional experience in SEO, Content Strategy, or Digital Product Management within a large-scale, high-growth organization.
- Expertise in the "New Search" Stack: Deep understanding of GEO vs. SEO, specifically how LLMs parse "Information Gain," entity relationships, and sentiment.
- Multi-Media Content Mastery: Proven track record of managing and optimizing content across various formats (video, infographics, audio) for search rankings and user engagement.
- CMS & Technical Proficiency: Strong experience managing content publication within an enterprise CMS and utilizing SEO research tools (Google Search Console, Adobe Analytics, Ahrefs, or similar).
- Strategic Influence: Ability to translate complex "Agentic" or AI behavioral shifts into clear business strategies and influence senior leadership as a high-level individual contributor.
- High Ownership: A self-starter who can manage a "strike team" environment, move from reactive answering to proactive education, and drive a competitive advantage in a rapidly shifting landscape.

Align your portfolio to Intuit's product lines
Intuit hires Marketing talent around specific products like QuickBooks, TurboTax, and Credit Karma. Frame your portfolio around data-driven campaign work or product-led growth, not just brand awareness, to match how their Marketing org is structured.
Target roles that map to a specialty occupation
USCIS requires H-1B roles to qualify as specialty occupations needing a relevant bachelor's degree or higher. Marketing roles tied to analytics, product marketing, or market research tend to meet this bar more cleanly than generalist coordinator-level positions.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Marketing roles at Intuit that actively list sponsorship
Not every Intuit Marketing posting signals sponsorship availability upfront. Migrate Mate surfaces roles where sponsorship is confirmed, so you're not spending time applying to positions that will stall at the offer stage.
Prepare for LCA timelines before you receive an offer
Your employer must file a certified Labor Condition Application with DOL before USCIS can process your H-1B petition. Understanding this sequencing means you won't be caught off guard if your start date gets pushed by a few weeks during certification.
Ask specifically about cap-exempt or transfer sponsorship during recruiter calls
If you already hold an H-1B with another employer, Intuit can file an H-1B transfer without waiting for the annual lottery. Raising this in early recruiter conversations clarifies your timeline and signals immigration literacy, which larger employers respect.

Find Marketing at Intuit JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Intuit sponsor H-1B visas for Marketing roles?
Yes, Intuit sponsors H-1B visas for Marketing roles. Because H-1B sponsorship requires the position to qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS guidelines, roles with a clear analytical or technical component, such as product marketing, marketing analytics, or growth marketing, tend to have a smoother path through the petition process than broadly scoped generalist positions.
How do I apply for Marketing jobs at Intuit?
You can apply directly through Intuit's careers site, where Marketing roles are listed by product line and team. To find positions that confirm visa sponsorship, Migrate Mate filters Intuit's open Marketing roles by sponsorship eligibility, saving you the step of vetting each posting individually before you invest time in an application.
Which visa types does Intuit commonly use for Marketing roles?
Intuit sponsors several visa categories for Marketing professionals, including H-1B, E-3 (for Australian citizens), TN (for Canadian and Mexican nationals), F-1 OPT and CPT for students in active programs, J-1, and EB-2 or EB-3 for candidates pursuing permanent residence. The right category depends on your nationality, degree, and where you are in your immigration journey.
What qualifications does Intuit look for in Marketing candidates who need sponsorship?
Intuit's Marketing roles typically require a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, economics, communications, or a related field. For visa purposes, your degree needs to align with the specific role. Candidates with experience in performance marketing, B2B or B2C product marketing, or customer analytics tend to be competitive. Demonstrable results from past campaigns, not just responsibilities, carry significant weight in their hiring process.
How do I time my job search if my OPT or current visa status is expiring soon?
If you're on F-1 OPT, factor in that H-1B cap-subject petitions can only be filed once per year, with an October 1 start date. If your OPT expires before the next H-1B cycle begins, STEM OPT extension eligibility becomes critical. Starting your Intuit application three to four months before your status expires gives enough buffer for offer, LCA filing with DOL, and petition preparation without a gap in authorization.
