Job Description
At JPMorgan Chase, we don't just follow marketing trends, we set them. Our Marketing team is pioneering the use of artificial intelligence to drive smarter, faster, and more impactful solutions. We're seeking an Associate to provide support on our Marketing AI Initiatives, orchestrating innovation across the firm and ensuring we stay ahead of the curve and the competition. Performance Marketing, Operations & Transformation (PMOT) serves multiple stakeholders and diverse business goals across the Chase Marketing business and beyond. As a Marketing AI Program Analyst-Senior Associate on the Performance Marketing and Transformation team, you will support the day-to-day execution, tracking, and governance of Marketing AI initiatives across the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) organization and key partners. You will help keep a portfolio of AI proofs of concept (POCs) and pilots organized and moving—maintaining plans, statuses, dependencies, and documentation—so leaders can make fast, informed decisions. This role also supports the Marketing-owned Marketing AI Sandbox, helping manage intake, maintain execution trackers, coordinate approvals, and support measurement and reporting. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including Technology, Data/Analytics, Legal/Compliance, Privacy, Controls, and Risk to help ensure innovation is delivered responsibly.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain portfolio artifacts to support a governed set of AI POCs and pilots (e.g., initiative trackers, milestones, RAID logs, decision logs, action items).
- Support POC/pilot execution by coordinating working sessions, capturing outcomes, and tracking follow-ups to closure.
- Help identify and flag risks (timeline slippage, resourcing constraints, dependency conflicts, control/approval gaps) and escalate appropriately.
- Produce clear, concise status updates for working teams and leadership (e.g., weekly summaries, dashboards, portfolio readouts, meeting notes with decisions and actions).
- Help collect and organize performance inputs (quantitative and qualitative) to support business-impact narratives (e.g., efficiency gains, cycle-time reduction, quality uplift).
- Translate complex updates into structured, executive-ready content (what happened, what's next, what's needed, what's at risk).
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- 3+ years of experience in program coordination, project management, operations, marketing operations, technology delivery, or transformation support.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce crisp summaries and action-oriented updates.
- Comfort working with cross-functional stakeholders (business, technology, analytics, and control partners) and navigating structured processes.
- Proficiency with common program management and documentation tools (e.g., trackers, decks, meeting notes, status reporting).
- Curiosity and learning mindset—interest in AI, marketing technology, and how innovation is delivered safely in a regulated environment.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Experience supporting AI, data, martech, or automation initiatives in a marketing or digital environment.
- Familiarity with marketing delivery ecosystems (e.g., email operations, paid media/digital channels, content workflows, measurement/analytics).
- Experience with governance-oriented delivery (supporting documentation, approvals, and control steps).
- Ability to structure ambiguous requests into clear problem statements and next steps.

Align your portfolio to regulated industries
JPMorganChase's Marketing teams operate under strict compliance and legal review for all external communications. Frame your portfolio around campaigns built in regulated environments, like financial services or healthcare, where messaging precision and approval workflows are standard.
Target roles in digital and performance marketing
Demand for data-driven Marketing talent at large financial conglomerates like JPMorganChase skews toward performance, CRM, and analytics functions. These roles are more likely to meet USCIS specialty occupation criteria than generalist brand or content positions when sponsorship is evaluated.
Search verified sponsoring employers on Migrate Mate
Filter Marketing openings by visa type on Migrate Mate to surface JPMorganChase roles where sponsorship has been confirmed through DOL and USCIS filings. This removes the guesswork of cold-applying to listings with no sponsorship signal.
Clarify sponsorship before the final interview round
At JPMorganChase, sponsorship decisions for Marketing roles often involve HR, legal, and the business unit. Ask your recruiter directly whether the role is open to candidates requiring visa sponsorship before you reach the offer stage to avoid late-stage surprises.
Prepare a degree-to-role connection document
For H-1B or E-3 sponsorship, USCIS requires the position to qualify as a specialty occupation. Have a written summary ready that maps your Marketing degree to the specific technical requirements of the role, such as analytics, market research methodology, or financial product marketing.
Understand how cap-exempt timing affects your start date
JPMorganChase is a cap-subject employer, so H-1B petitions follow the April lottery and October 1 start date. If you're already on H-1B with another employer, a transfer can begin the day USCIS receives the petition, which matters for negotiating your offer timeline.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does JPMorganChase sponsor H-1B visas for Marketings?
Yes, JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B visas for Marketing roles, particularly in data-driven, digital, and research-intensive functions that meet USCIS specialty occupation criteria. Generalist or broad communications roles can be harder to qualify, so positioning your application around a technical Marketing specialization strengthens the sponsorship case. The company's legal and immigration teams manage the filing process internally.
Which visa types does JPMorganChase sponsor for Marketing roles?
JPMorganChase sponsors multiple visa categories for Marketing professionals, including H-1B, H-1B1 visa for Chilean and Singaporean nationals, and E-3 for Australian citizens. For longer-term pathways, the company also supports Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 and EB-3 classifications. The right visa type depends on your nationality, degree, and the specific role's requirements under DOL and USCIS guidelines.
How do I apply for Marketing jobs at JPMorganChase?
Apply directly through JPMorganChase's careers portal, where Marketing roles are listed by line of business, including Consumer and Community Banking, Asset and Wealth Management, and Corporate. You can also browse verified open Marketing positions at JPMorganChase on Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa sponsorship type so you can focus on roles that match your immigration status from the start.
What qualifications are expected for Marketing roles at JPMorganChase?
Most Marketing roles at JPMorganChase require a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related quantitative field. Senior and specialist roles often expect platform expertise in tools like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Analytics, or similar martech stacks. Financial services experience is a strong differentiator, particularly for roles supporting wealth management, card products, or institutional client communications.
How do I plan my timeline around H-1B sponsorship at JPMorganChase?
If you need an initial H-1B, USCIS registration opens in March and the lottery result comes in April, with an October 1 start date at the earliest. That means offers typically need to be in place by late February. If you're already on H-1B status at another employer, a transfer to JPMorganChase can be initiated any time of year and work authorization can begin once USCIS receives the petition.
