INTRODUCTION
Chewy is looking for a Senior Marketing Project Manager, Broadcast & Experiential to join our Marketing Planning & Operations team. In this role, you will support Creative & Production in owning end-to-end timeline development, collaborate on scheduling, and manage workflow for Broadcast and Event-driven marketing campaigns, ensuring high-visibility initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and with strong cross-functional alignment.
This role is ideal for a highly organized project manager with experience supporting integrated campaign delivery across Broadcast, live or tentpole Events, Creative, Production, Studio, and Marketing stakeholders. You will serve as the operational hub for these campaigns - building executable plans, coordinating dependencies, driving accountability, surfacing risk early, and ensuring teams stay aligned from intake through launch and wrap.
The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, comfort working in ambiguity, and the ability to manage multiple complex timelines simultaneously while partnering effectively across internal teams and external partners.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the end-to-end project timeline and workflow execution for Broadcast and Event-driven marketing campaigns.
- Partner with Creative and Production leads to proactively manage creative readiness - ensuring briefs, inputs, decisions, approvals, and handoffs are progressing on time, escalating gaps in ownership or process when creative work is at risk.
- Lead intake and kickoff for assigned campaigns, partnering with Marketing, Program Management, Creative, Production, Post Production, and other key stakeholders to define scope, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Build and manage detailed project plans that account for critical activities across campaign development, creative production, approvals, trafficking or delivery needs, event readiness, and launch execution.
- Drive alignment across cross-functional teams by establishing clear expectations, meeting cadences, status communications, and decisions needed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proactively identify risks, schedule conflicts, and operational blockers; develop mitigation plans and escalate when needed to protect launch dates and campaign quality.
- Own timeline tradeoff conversations when priorities shift, supporting partners and stakeholders to make informed decisions around scope, speed, resourcing, and delivery.
- Partner with stakeholders to refine requirements and translate business needs into executable tasks, project milestones, and clear ownership.
- Support campaign readiness by ensuring all required inputs, approvals, assets, and production milestones are accounted for ahead of launch or event execution.
- Track project health, key milestones, and success metrics to drive accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Analyze workflow patterns, postmortem findings, and operational pain points to recommend scalable improvements to processes, tools, templates, and planning mechanisms.
- Represent Marketing Project Management in planning and operational forums related to Broadcast and workstreams.
- Foster strong working relationships across Marketing, Creative, Studio, Production, and partner teams to improve collaboration and execution quality.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional marketing, broadcast, event, studio, or production workflows, with demonstrated ownership of end-to-end execution for a set of projects and accountability for on-time delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Proven ability to define and own project plans, manage a complex workload, and translate business or campaign needs into executable plans, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Demonstrated success partnering with internal and external stakeholders to execute against shared goals, while influencing prioritization and resourcing, mitigating risk, and driving accountability across teams.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to establish clear objectives and alignment across Marketing, Creative, Studio, Production, and other partners.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to keep stakeholders informed on progress, risks, and changes, address concerns constructively, and communicate complex themes clearly to support decision-making.
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to act autonomously whenever possible, balance stakeholder needs with organizational goals, and recognize when escalation is needed.
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity by creating structure around open-ended problems, identifying the factors driving scope and risk, and making recommendations that reduce delivery risk.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to proactively anticipate roadblocks, assess impact and urgency, develop remediation plans, and drive resolution for complex campaign and launch challenges.
- Experience applying strong project management fundamentals to ensure high-quality, timely execution; establishing and tracking success metrics; and continuously improving delivery mechanisms, workflows, templates, and processes.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Workfront, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar, with the ability to use tools, reporting, and data to improve transparency, planning, and execution.
- Strong capabilities in critical thinking, data interpretation, prioritization and time management, organization, multitasking, relationship building, and conflict resolution.
COMPENSATION
- The base salary range for this role is $118,500 - $207,000.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. C08+ positions may also be eligible for annual bonus.
We offer different types of insurance and benefits, such as medical/Rx, vision, dental, life, disability, hospital indemnity, critical illness, and accident. We offer parental leave, family services benefits, backup dependent care, flexible spending accounts, telemedicine, pet adoption reimbursement, employee assistance program, and many discounts including 10% off pet insurance and 20% off at Chewy.com.

Tailor your portfolio to retail metrics
Chewy evaluates Marketing candidates on commerce-driven outcomes. Frame your experience around customer acquisition costs, retention rates, or conversion lift rather than brand awareness metrics alone. Retail marketing portfolios that show measurable revenue impact move faster through Chewy's hiring process.
Verify your OPT timeline before applying
If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your remaining authorization window against Chewy's typical interview-to-offer timeline. A gap between OPT expiration and H-1B cap-subject filing can leave you without work authorization, so map your dates before your first interview.
Target roles that map to H-1B specialty occupation criteria
Not every Marketing title qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards. Focus on roles requiring a specific degree field, such as Marketing Analytics, CRM Strategy, or Paid Media, where the degree requirement is built into the job description rather than listed as a preference.
Ask about sponsorship scope during the offer stage
Before signing, confirm whether Chewy's sponsorship covers only H-1B or also includes PERM-based Green Card pathways. Some retail employers sponsor the initial visa but defer immigrant petition filing, which affects your long-term planning significantly.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Marketing roles at Chewy
Chewy posts Marketing roles across multiple job boards inconsistently. Use Migrate Mate to surface current openings filtered by sponsorship type and role category, so you're targeting positions where sponsorship is already confirmed rather than guessing from a generic listing.
Align your resume language with Chewy's internal team structure
Chewy's Marketing org uses distinct team names like Growth, Loyalty, and Acquisition. Mirroring this language in your application signals familiarity with how large-scale DTC retail marketing functions are structured, which matters to hiring managers reviewing volume candidate pools.

Find Marketing at Chewy JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Chewy sponsor H-1B visas for Marketing roles?
Yes, Chewy sponsors H-1B visas for Marketing positions, though sponsorship is not automatic for every role or title. Roles that require a specific degree field, such as analytics, digital marketing, or CRM, tend to meet USCIS specialty occupation standards more readily than generalist titles. Confirming sponsorship willingness early in the process is the right move before investing significant time in the interview cycle.
How do I apply for Marketing jobs at Chewy?
You can apply through Chewy's careers portal or find visa-sponsorship-confirmed Marketing openings on Migrate Mate, which filters roles by sponsorship type. Chewy's Marketing hiring process typically involves an initial recruiter screen, a hiring manager interview, and a skills or case-based assessment. Tailoring your application to the specific Marketing sub-function, such as performance, brand, or retention, improves your chances of passing initial screening.
Which visa types does Chewy commonly use for Marketing positions?
Chewy's Marketing sponsorship history includes H-1B cap-subject petitions, F-1 OPT and CPT work authorization, TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying roles, and employment-based Green Card categories including EB-2 and EB-3. The right pathway depends on your nationality, degree level, and the specific role. TN is often the fastest route for eligible nationals, while H-1B remains the standard long-term option.
What qualifications does Chewy expect for sponsored Marketing roles?
Chewy's sponsored Marketing roles typically require a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related analytical field. For data-heavy roles like Marketing Analytics or CRM, proficiency in platforms such as Salesforce, SQL, or Google Analytics is commonly expected. Prior experience in retail, e-commerce, or subscription-based business models is a strong differentiator given Chewy's operating context in pet retail.
How do I time my application around the H-1B cap and filing deadlines?
USCIS opens H-1B cap registration in March each year, with an October 1 start date for approved petitions. If you're targeting Chewy for an H-1B role, the ideal window is securing an offer between January and early March so your employer can register in time. If you miss the cap cycle, options include OPT STEM extension if applicable, TN status for eligible nationals, or waiting for the next registration period.
