At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.
Snowflake is about empowering enterprises to achieve their full potential — and people too. With a culture that's all in on impact, innovation, and collaboration, Snowflake is the sweet spot for building big, moving fast, and taking technology — and careers — to the next level.
Snowflake is growing fast and we're scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We're passionate about our people, our customers, our values and our culture! We're also looking for people with a growth mindset and the pragmatic insight to solve for today while building for the future. And as a Snowflake employee, you will be accountable for supporting and enabling diversity and belonging.
Do you want to shape how the world's best builders — data engineers, ML engineers, and app developers — experience Snowflake? We're looking for a technically sharp, builder-obsessed product marketer to own go-to-market strategy for Snowflake's developer-facing product areas.
This person will work at the intersection of product, engineering, and field teams to craft narratives that resonate with hands-on builders — from individual contributors writing code to technical architects evaluating platforms. You'll be Snowflake's voice to the developer community and the developer community's voice back into Snowflake.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Build and execute go-to-market strategies for Snowflake developer products, spanning awareness through adoption, across multiple product areas
- Develop technically credible messaging, positioning, and content — including documentation guides, technical blogs, demo scripts, reference architectures, and code-level examples — that speaks to how builders think and work
- Own the developer persona: deeply understand the workflows, pain points, and decision criteria of data engineers, ML engineers, software developers, and technical architects
- Create sales and partner enablement materials that help field teams articulate developer value propositions and close technical evaluations
- Drive product launch strategy and execution, including naming, segmentation, channel mix, and launch tiers, in partnership with product management and the broader marketing team
- Partner with developer advocacy, community, and documentation teams to build an integrated motion that drives hands-on adoption and retention
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- 7–10 years of product marketing experience, with meaningful exposure to developer-facing or technical products in data, AI, or cloud infrastructure
- Hands-on technical fluency — you've written code (Python, SQL, or similar), understand APIs and developer workflows, and can credibly engage with engineering teams and technical buyers
- Demonstrated track record creating messaging and content for builder personas that drives awareness, trial, and adoption
- Experience developing technical content assets including reference architectures, demo narratives, technical solution briefs, and developer how-to content
- Strong cross-functional skills — can partner effectively with product management, engineering, sales, and developer relations to align GTM strategies and execute launches
- Competitive instincts: comfortable dissecting technical products, benchmarking capabilities, and translating competitive positioning into field-ready battle cards
- Excellent written communication skills; ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear, outcome-focused narratives for both technical and business audiences
- Experience with developer community engagement (GitHub, Stack Overflow, developer conferences) is a plus
- BS/BA in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science) or equivalent experience; MBA a plus
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of time

Align your portfolio to Snowflake's GTM motion
Snowflake markets a data cloud platform to enterprise buyers. Highlight campaign work tied to B2B SaaS, pipeline generation, or technical audiences. Generic consumer marketing experience is a harder sell than demonstrated enterprise GTM impact.
Target roles that map to your visa category
OPT and CPT authorizations are tied to your degree field. Marketing roles requiring a business, communications, or related degree are the cleanest fit. Roles straying into adjacent functions can complicate the specialty occupation determination at the H-1B petition stage.
Confirm sponsorship intent before final interview rounds
Snowflake's recruiting teams handle sponsorship decisions at the offer stage, not upfront. Ask directly whether the specific role and level are approved for sponsorship during the hiring manager screen, so you're not negotiating blind after receiving an offer.
Build evidence for your Labor Condition Application
Your employer files the LCA with DOL before your H-1B petition can move forward. Document your job duties clearly in writing so they match the specialty occupation description. Vague or catch-all job titles can trigger additional USCIS scrutiny.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Marketing roles at Snowflake
Search Migrate Mate's job board to filter for Marketing openings at Snowflake that are open to visa sponsorship. It saves you from screening dozens of listings that exclude international candidates before you reach the application stage.
Time your application around the H-1B cap window
USCIS opens H-1B registrations each March for an October 1 start date. If you're on OPT, coordinate your job search so an offer can be secured before registration closes. Cap-exempt scenarios don't apply to most standard Snowflake Marketing hires.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Snowflake sponsor H-1B visas for Marketings?
Yes, Snowflake sponsors H-1B visas for Marketing roles. The company has a demonstrated history of filing H-1B petitions for this function, particularly in product marketing, demand generation, and field marketing. Sponsorship is typically confirmed at the offer stage, so it's worth asking the recruiter directly which roles at your target level are approved for sponsorship.
Which visa types does Snowflake commonly sponsor for Marketing roles?
Snowflake sponsors H-1B visas most commonly for Marketing positions, along with F-1 OPT and CPT for students in active degree programs. The company also sponsors TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying Marketing roles, and supports Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for longer-tenured employees. J-1 visa holders may find placement through Snowflake's internship programs.
What qualifications does Snowflake expect for sponsored Marketing roles?
Most Marketing roles at Snowflake require a bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, business, communications, or a related field. For H-1B sponsorship, the role must qualify as a specialty occupation, so the degree requirement must be specific to the position. Snowflake's Marketing team skews toward candidates with B2B SaaS experience, familiarity with pipeline metrics, and exposure to enterprise or technical audiences.
How do I apply for Marketing jobs at Snowflake?
Browse open Marketing roles on Migrate Mate's job board, which filters for positions at Snowflake that are open to visa sponsorship. Once you identify a role, apply through Snowflake's careers page. Tailor your application to reflect enterprise B2B marketing experience and be ready to confirm your visa status and sponsorship needs early in the recruiter screen. Snowflake's process typically includes multiple interview rounds before an offer.
How do I time my job search at Snowflake around visa deadlines?
If you're on F-1 OPT, your available work authorization window determines when you need an offer. USCIS H-1B registration opens in March each year for an October 1 start, so securing an offer by late February gives your employer time to register. If your OPT expires before October, STEM OPT extension may bridge the gap, but your degree must qualify and your employer must be enrolled in E-Verify.
