Align your experience to Intuit's product domains
Intuit Engineering Manager roles cluster around TurboTax, QuickBooks, and Credit Karma. Frame your leadership experience around fintech, consumer software, or platform infrastructure teams to match how their hiring managers scope these roles.
Prepare a portfolio of cross-functional leadership evidence
Intuit's engineering leadership interviews go beyond technical depth. Document examples where you drove delivery across product, design, and data science teams. Concrete outcomes matter more than scope of headcount managed.
Use Migrate Mate to find active Engineering Manager openings at Intuit
Intuit's open engineering leadership roles aren't always easy to track across job boards. Migrate Mate filters specifically for visa-sponsoring companies, so you can surface active Engineering Manager postings at Intuit without sifting through roles that won't sponsor.
Understand the PERM timeline if you're targeting a Green Card
PERM labor certification can take 18 months or longer through DOL. If long-term permanent residency matters to you, raise this during offer discussions rather than after your first H-1B is filed, when leverage is much lower.
Request a dedicated immigration contact early in onboarding
Large technology employers like Intuit typically retain outside immigration counsel. Once you have an offer, ask HR to connect you directly with that counsel before your start date so your petition timeline doesn't slip due to document delays.

Find Engineering Manager at Intuit JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Intuit sponsor H-1B visas for Engineering Managers?
Yes, Intuit sponsors H-1B visas for Engineering Manager roles. The company operates across multiple U.S. locations and has a consistent track record of filing H-1B petitions for engineering leadership positions. Because Engineering Manager is a specialty occupation requiring a relevant bachelor's degree or higher, these roles align well with H-1B eligibility criteria.
How do I apply for Engineering Manager jobs at Intuit?
You can apply through Intuit's careers site or find visa-sponsoring openings curated by Migrate Mate, which filters Engineering Manager roles specifically at companies with active sponsorship histories. When applying, tailor your resume to reflect leadership across software delivery cycles and mention your visa status clearly in recruiter conversations to avoid delays later in the process.
Which visa types does Intuit commonly use for Engineering Manager roles?
Intuit sponsors several visa categories for engineering leadership roles, including H-1B for most nationalities, E-3 for Australian citizens, and TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying occupations. For candidates already in the U.S. on F-1 OPT or CPT, Intuit supports those transitions too. Long-term, the company files EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant petitions for Green Card sponsorship.
What qualifications does Intuit expect for Engineering Manager candidates?
Intuit typically expects Engineering Manager candidates to have prior experience leading software engineering teams in a product-driven environment, a background in fintech, cloud platforms, or consumer software is particularly relevant. A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field is standard, and experience navigating cross-functional dependencies in agile organizations carries significant weight in their evaluation process.
How do I plan around visa filing timelines when targeting an Intuit Engineering Manager role?
If you're pursuing an H-1B and aren't already in that status, the April lottery window is the key constraint. USCIS opens H-1B registrations in March each year, and cap-subject petitions can't be filed outside that cycle. E-3 and TN holders have more flexibility since those visas aren't lottery-based. Starting conversations with Intuit recruiters well before your current status expires gives everyone enough runway to file correctly.
