Overview
About the Role
Intuit is committed to creating solutions to power prosperity around the world, meeting the needs and improving the chances of success for businesses ranging from the small businesses that drive our economy to the mid-sized and enterprise businesses with broader scale and more complex needs. We look to accomplish this with a portfolio of solutions ranging from accounting, to financial management, to workforce, to digital payments and lending. Intuit is redefining financial management for mid-sized and enterprise businesses by combining enterprise-grade power with Intuit simplicity with a portfolio that includes Intuit Enterprise Suite, QuickBooks Online Advanced and QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise. As Intuit expands its footprint in the ERP space with Intuit Enterprise Suite, the emerging mid-market portfolio of Desktop Enterprise and QuickBooks Online Advanced is repositioned to create a clear glidepath from small business accounting through to ERP. To bridge the gap between small business accounting solutions and our ERP as a financial management platform, we are seeking a senior, highly strategic Principal Product Marketing Manager to help shape the next chapter of Intuit’s mid-market and enterprise strategy.

- Leverage consumer (qual and quant), competitive, and industry insights plus new technological capabilities to uncover opportunities that can help further differentiate our suite of product offerings.
- Analytically-minded, with the ability to develop clear hypotheses and collaborate cross-functionally with other product marketing teams, channel marketing, sales, finance, analytics, and product to test and iterate our way into how we solution-sell our platform particularly through sales channels, providing the customer insights, positioning, and content to drive demand.
- Demonstrate ownership of business outcomes, writing and managing a performance measurement plan for GTM strategies.
- Make go-forward recommendations and present and share learning and recommendations across the organization.
- Track performance and insights to inform future programs and continuously improve how we go to market.

Tips for Finding Product Marketing Jobs at Intuit
Frame your portfolio around product-led growth
Intuit's Product Marketing roles emphasize lifecycle marketing, pricing narratives, and cross-functional launches. Highlight campaigns where you drove measurable adoption or retention, not just brand awareness. Generic marketing portfolios get screened out early.
Target roles tied to core product lines
Intuit concentrates Product Marketing headcount around TurboTax, QuickBooks, and Credit Karma. Roles attached to these flagship products tend to have more defined sponsorship pathways than newer or experimental units, so prioritize them in your search.
Verify your visa category before applying
Intuit sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, F-1 OPT, and other visa types for this function. Confirm which category fits your nationality and timeline before your first recruiter call. Misaligned visa assumptions late in the process can delay or derail an offer.
Align your OPT timeline with Intuit's hiring cycles
Intuit's hiring for Product Marketing roles tends to ramp in Q1 and Q3. If you're on F-1 OPT with fewer than six months remaining, address the timeline proactively with your recruiter. USCIS requires the H-1B petition to be filed before your OPT expires.
Use Migrate Mate to filter verified Product Marketing openings
Not every job board flags visa sponsorship accurately. Use Migrate Mate to find Product Marketing roles at Intuit that are verified for sponsorship eligibility, so you're not spending time on listings where sponsorship isn't actually on the table.
Clarify LCA timing before accepting an offer
Your employer must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before USCIS can process your H-1B petition. For E-3 applicants, the certified LCA is also required at the consular interview. Ask your Intuit recruiter which step is already in motion at the offer stage.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Intuit sponsor H-1B visas for Product Marketings?
Yes, Intuit sponsors H-1B visas for Product Marketing roles. The company has a consistent track record of filing H-1B petitions for this function, particularly for roles tied to its core product lines like TurboTax and QuickBooks. Because H-1B sponsorship involves a USCIS filing and, for cap-subject cases, a lottery, you should confirm sponsorship intent with your recruiter before advancing far into the interview process.
How do I apply for Product Marketing jobs at Intuit?
Apply directly through Intuit's careers site, where Product Marketing roles are listed by product line and seniority level. Tailoring your application to a specific product, such as QuickBooks or Credit Karma, rather than submitting a general resume, improves your chances of passing initial screening. You can also browse visa-verified openings at Intuit through Migrate Mate to confirm sponsorship is available before you apply.
Which visa types does Intuit commonly use for Product Marketing roles?
Intuit sponsors H-1B, E-3 visa, TN visa, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1 visa, and Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for Product Marketing professionals. The right category depends on your nationality, degree, and current status. Australian citizens are well-positioned for the E-3 visa, which has no lottery and allows unlimited two-year renewals. Canadian and Mexican nationals may qualify for TN visa status under USMCA.
What qualifications does Intuit expect for Product Marketing roles?
Most Product Marketing positions at Intuit require a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field, though many senior roles expect an MBA. Beyond credentials, Intuit looks for candidates with hands-on experience in go-to-market strategy, customer segmentation, and cross-functional collaboration with product and engineering teams. For H-1B purposes, the role must qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning a specific degree in a relevant field is typically required.
How do I time my job search at Intuit around visa deadlines?
If you're targeting an H-1B, cap-subject petitions can only be filed after the April lottery, with an October 1 start date. That means your offer and LCA need to be in place by late March. For E-3 and TN visas, there's no annual cap, so timing is more flexible. If you're on OPT, the 60-day grace period starts the day your employment ends, so beginning your Intuit search well before that window closes is critical.
