Align your resume to Intuit's tech stack
Intuit's Engineering roles consistently emphasize cloud infrastructure, full-stack development, and data engineering. Tailor your resume to reflect experience with these areas so it clears automated screening before a recruiter ever reviews your sponsorship situation.
Target teams with recurring Engineering headcount
Intuit's platform, identity, and payments engineering teams have shown consistent hiring volume over multiple years. Focusing your applications on these divisions increases your chances of landing on a team with an established sponsorship workflow and fewer internal approvals required.
Clarify your visa type early in the process
F-1 OPT and CPT candidates often get screened out when recruiters assume sponsorship means an immediate H-1B filing. Stating clearly that you already have work authorization through OPT removes that friction and moves you faster through early interview rounds.
Time your offer around the H-1B cap cycle
If you'll need H-1B sponsorship, USCIS opens registration in March for an October 1 start. Securing an Intuit offer between January and February gives your employer maximum time to prepare the petition before the registration window closes.
Browse verified Engineering sponsorship openings on Migrate Mate
Searching for roles without knowing a company's actual sponsorship history wastes significant time. Use Migrate Mate to filter Engineering jobs at Intuit by visa type so you apply only to positions where sponsorship has been confirmed through government disclosure data.
Understand how PERM affects your long-term timeline
Intuit supports EB-2 and EB-3 green card pathways for Engineering staff, but PERM labor certification adds 12 to 18 months before USCIS can adjudicate your immigrant petition. Factor this into your planning if you're transitioning off OPT and need status continuity.

Find Engineering at Intuit JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Intuit sponsor H-1B visas for Engineers?
Yes, Intuit sponsors H-1B visas for Engineering roles. The company files petitions for qualifying positions across software engineering, infrastructure, and data disciplines. If you're already on OPT, your employer will typically transition you to H-1B status before your authorization expires, subject to the annual USCIS cap lottery in March.
How do I apply for Engineering jobs at Intuit?
Applications go through Intuit's careers portal. For visa-sponsored roles specifically, Migrate Mate filters Engineering openings at Intuit by visa type, so you can identify positions where sponsorship has been documented through DOL and USCIS filings before you invest time in the application process.
Which visa types does Intuit commonly sponsor for Engineering roles?
Intuit sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and J-1 visas for Engineering positions, and also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways. Australian citizens on the E-3 and Canadian or Mexican nationals on TN visas are often preferred for roles requiring fast starts, since those categories have no lottery and no annual cap.
What qualifications does Intuit expect for sponsored Engineering roles?
Most Engineering roles at Intuit require a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a closely related technical field. Many mid-level and senior positions also expect demonstrated experience with cloud platforms, distributed systems, or data pipelines. The specialty occupation standard under H-1B requires that the role specifically requires a degree in a relevant field, so a strong technical degree match matters.
How long does the sponsorship and filing process take at Intuit?
For H-1B, USCIS registration opens in March and approved petitions take effect October 1, so you're looking at a roughly six-month gap from registration to start date. E-3 and TN petitions can move significantly faster, often within weeks. Green Card sponsorship through PERM typically adds 12 to 18 months for labor certification before USCIS can process your immigrant petition.
