Frame your credentials around GFT's delivery model
GFT runs large-scale technology transformation programs for financial services clients. Tailor your resume to show end-to-end program ownership in regulated tech environments, not just project coordination. Agile delivery frameworks and vendor management experience are consistently valued.
Target GFT's financial services program portfolios
GFT's Program Manager openings are concentrated in banking, insurance, and capital markets verticals. Search for roles tied to core banking modernization or digital transformation rather than generic program management, where your background aligns directly with their client base.
Confirm H-1B sponsorship early in recruiter conversations
GFT has sponsored H-1B visas for Program Manager roles before, but sponsorship decisions happen at the hiring manager level. Ask explicitly during your first recruiter screen so you're not discovering a roadblock after final-round interviews.
Time your application around the H-1B cap cycle
If you're not currently in H-1B status, USCIS only accepts cap-subject petitions in April for an October start. GFT would need to file your petition in spring, so securing an offer several months prior to the registration window is critical.
Verify GFT's E-Verify enrollment before accepting an offer
Employers filing H-1B petitions must be enrolled in E-Verify. Confirming GFT's enrollment through the DOL or E-Verify public search before you reach the offer stage saves you from late-stage complications if their compliance status has changed.
Use Migrate Mate to surface active GFT openings
Program Manager roles at GFT turn over frequently across their technology delivery teams. Use Migrate Mate to filter for GFT's open positions confirmed for visa sponsorship, so you're applying to live roles rather than chasing listings that have already closed.

Find Program Manager at GFT JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does GFT sponsor H-1B visas for Program Managers?
Yes, GFT has sponsored H-1B visas for Program Manager roles. Sponsorship is not guaranteed on every opening, so it's worth confirming directly with the recruiter at the start of your process. GFT operates in the Technology and Software space with strong financial services delivery practices, which tends to support structured immigration hiring for experienced program leaders.
How do I apply for Program Manager jobs at GFT?
You can find active Program Manager openings at GFT through Migrate Mate, which filters for roles where visa sponsorship is confirmed. Once you identify a relevant role, apply directly through GFT's careers portal. Tailor your application to highlight program delivery experience in financial services or enterprise technology transformation, as those are GFT's primary delivery verticals.
Which visa types are commonly used for Program Manager roles at GFT?
The H-1B is the primary visa category GFT uses for sponsoring Program Managers. Program management in technology qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards when the role requires at least a bachelor's degree in a related field. Candidates already holding L-1, O-1, or TN status may also be eligible depending on nationality and circumstances, but H-1B is the standard path for most candidates.
What qualifications does GFT expect for Program Manager roles?
GFT's Program Manager roles typically require a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business, or a closely related field, along with demonstrated experience managing multi-workstream technology programs. Financial services industry experience is a consistent differentiator. Certifications like PMP or SAFe Agile are frequently listed in job descriptions and strengthen your profile against other candidates in the pipeline.
How do I understand the H-1B filing timeline if I get an offer from GFT?
If you're subject to the H-1B cap, USCIS opens electronic registration each March for an April lottery. GFT would need to register you in that window for an October 1 start date. If you're already in H-1B status with another employer, GFT can file a transfer petition at any time and you can begin work as soon as USCIS receives it under portability rules.
