Frame your PMP credentials for technology delivery
GFT hires Project Program Managers to drive software and digital transformation engagements. Certifications like PMP or PMI-ACP carry more weight when your resume ties them directly to agile delivery cycles, sprint planning, or enterprise technology rollouts rather than generic project coordination.
Target GFT's financial services and banking clients
GFT's project delivery work is heavily concentrated in financial services technology. Applicants with experience managing programs for banks, insurance firms, or capital markets clients will align more closely with the roles GFT actually fills than candidates from unrelated verticals.
Confirm H-1B sponsorship before the offer stage
GFT does sponsor H-1B visas for Project Program Managers, but not every open role is approved for sponsorship at the hiring manager level. Ask HR directly during early conversations whether the specific position is approved for H-1B filing before investing time in later interview rounds.
Align your start date around H-1B cap timelines
If you need a new H-1B, USCIS opens the annual lottery in March with an October 1 start date. Build this into your negotiation with GFT so your offer letter reflects a realistic start date that accounts for lottery registration, selection, and petition filing timelines.
Search GFT's open roles on Migrate Mate
GFT posts Project Program Manager openings across multiple locations and practice areas. Use Migrate Mate to filter GFT's active listings by role type and sponsorship availability so you're applying to positions that are open and verified for visa sponsorship.
Prepare your LCA documentation before your offer arrives
Once GFT extends an offer, the H-1B process starts with a Labor Condition Application filed with the DOL. Having your employment verification documents, degree transcripts, and professional references organized in advance keeps the filing timeline on track and avoids delays at the petition stage.

Does GFT sponsor H-1B visas for Project Program Managers?
Yes, GFT sponsors H-1B visas for Project Program Manager roles. Sponsorship is typically available for positions requiring specialized expertise in technology delivery, agile program management, or financial services transformation. Not every individual posting is automatically approved for sponsorship, so confirm with the hiring team early in the process that the specific role you're applying to is eligible.
How do I apply for Project Program Manager jobs at GFT?
You can browse and apply for Project Program Manager openings at GFT through Migrate Mate, which filters listings by sponsorship availability. GFT also posts roles directly on its careers site. Applying through a channel that confirms visa sponsorship upfront saves time, since not all postings on general job boards specify sponsorship eligibility for international candidates.
Which visa types are commonly used for Project Program Manager roles at GFT?
The H-1B is the primary visa GFT uses to sponsor Project Program Managers. This role qualifies as a specialty occupation because it requires a bachelor's degree or higher in business, information technology, engineering, or a related field. Candidates already on OPT or STEM OPT can often begin work before the H-1B petition is filed, giving both sides more flexibility on start dates.
What qualifications does GFT expect for Project Program Manager roles?
GFT's Project Program Manager roles typically require experience managing end-to-end technology delivery in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. Backgrounds in financial services technology are particularly relevant given GFT's client base. A PMP or similar project management certification strengthens your application, especially when paired with demonstrated experience leading agile or hybrid delivery programs in banking, insurance, or capital markets contexts.
How do I time the H-1B process when accepting a Project Program Manager offer from GFT?
The H-1B cap lottery runs once per year, with USCIS accepting registrations in March and a standard start date of October 1. If you receive an offer outside this window, you and GFT's immigration team will need to plan around the next available lottery cycle. Premium processing can accelerate USCIS adjudication to roughly 15 business days once the petition is filed, which helps reduce uncertainty after selection.
