Align your credentials to fintech delivery
GFT's Program Associate roles center on technology program delivery in banking and financial services. Certifications in project management like PMP or Agile frameworks strengthen your profile before applying, since GFT consistently hires for structured delivery methodologies across client engagements.
Target GFT's financial services practice areas
GFT primarily staffs Program Associates on capital markets, payments, and digital banking projects. Tailoring your resume to reflect experience in these verticals, even from adjacent roles, signals direct fit and reduces the employer's perceived risk of sponsoring an H-1B petition.
Browse open roles through Migrate Mate
GFT regularly posts Program Associate openings across multiple locations. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for GFT positions that confirm visa sponsorship, so you're applying to roles where H-1B support is already confirmed rather than guessing from the job description.
Apply before the H-1B registration window closes
USCIS opens H-1B registration in March each year for an October 1 start date. If you're targeting GFT as your sponsoring employer, secure your offer and complete the LCA process with enough lead time for GFT to register you before the deadline.
Clarify sponsorship scope during the offer stage
H-1B sponsorship costs and timelines vary depending on whether premium processing is used. During negotiations, ask GFT's HR or talent team directly which filing fees they cover and whether they use premium processing, since this affects your start date by weeks.
Prepare for a specialty occupation audit trail
USCIS scrutinizes H-1B petitions for Program Associate roles by examining whether the position genuinely requires a specialized degree. Document your role's technical requirements in detail and ensure GFT's job description ties the duties explicitly to a qualifying field of study.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does GFT sponsor H-1B visas for Program Associates?
Yes, GFT sponsors H-1B visas for Program Associate roles. The company operates in the Technology and Software sector with a global delivery model, and it has used H-1B sponsorship for this function. Sponsorship availability can vary by office location and project demand, so confirming with GFT's recruiting team during the application process is the most reliable approach.
How do I apply for Program Associate jobs at GFT?
You can find and apply for Program Associate roles at GFT through Migrate Mate, which filters listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability. From there, applications typically route through GFT's careers portal. Tailoring your application to highlight experience in technology program delivery within financial services gives you the strongest alignment with GFT's typical hiring criteria for this role.
Which visa types does GFT use for Program Associate roles?
GFT primarily uses the H-1B visa for sponsoring Program Associates. This is the most common work visa for technology and consulting roles in the U.S. If you hold an L-1 visa through a prior GFT entity abroad, an intracompany transfer could also apply, but H-1B is the standard pathway for external candidates joining the company.
What qualifications does GFT typically expect for Program Associate roles?
GFT's Program Associate positions generally require a bachelor's degree in a field tied to the role's technical scope, such as computer science, information systems, finance, or business technology. Relevant experience in project coordination, financial services technology, or client-facing delivery is valued. For H-1B purposes, your degree field needs to align closely with the duties listed in the job description.
How do I time my application around the H-1B process at GFT?
USCIS opens H-1B registration in March each year, with an October 1 start date for approved petitions. To be included in GFT's registration, you need an accepted offer and a completed Labor Condition Application filed with the DOL before registration opens. Targeting GFT roles in the fourth quarter of the prior year gives you the best window to secure an offer in time.
