Align Your Credentials to Tech QA Standards
GFT operates in software and technology delivery, so emphasize quality methodologies relevant to that context, such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or software testing frameworks. A resume framed around manufacturing inspection won't land the same way.
Target Roles With Active LCA Filings
Before applying, search DOL's Labor Condition Application disclosure data to confirm GFT is actively filing for Quality Control Inspector positions. LCA filings are public record and show you whether sponsorship is a real pattern or a one-off.
Browse Open Positions Through Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Quality Control Inspector openings at GFT that are flagged for visa sponsorship. This cuts the time spent sorting through listings where sponsorship is unclear or unavailable.
Address H-1B Specialty Occupation Early
Quality Control Inspector roles face scrutiny from USCIS over specialty occupation status. Come prepared to show your position requires a specific bachelor's degree, not just general experience, and that GFT's posting reflects that requirement explicitly.
Time Your Application Around H-1B Cap Deadlines
H-1B cap registration opens in March each year for an October 1 start date. If you're not already in a cap-exempt situation, work backward from that timeline so your offer and employer filing prep align with USCIS registration windows.
Prepare Documentation Before the Offer Stage
Have your degree certificates, transcripts, and any relevant certifications ready before GFT's HR team initiates the I-129 petition process. Delays in getting documents notarized or evaluated for equivalency can push your petition past filing windows.

Find Quality Control Inspector at GFT JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does GFT sponsor H-1B visas for Quality Control Inspectors?
Yes, GFT has sponsored H-1B visas for Quality Control Inspector roles. H-1B sponsorship for this position requires GFT to file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL and an I-129 petition with USCIS on your behalf. Because USCIS reviews whether the role qualifies as a specialty occupation, your application package should clearly document the degree requirements tied to the position.
How do I apply for Quality Control Inspector jobs at GFT?
Apply directly through GFT's careers portal or find their sponsored openings on Migrate Mate, which filters for roles where visa sponsorship is available. When you apply, tailor your resume to reflect quality assurance work in technology or software environments. Mention your visa status early in the process so GFT's HR team can loop in their immigration counsel before extending a formal offer.
Which visa types are used for Quality Control Inspector roles at GFT?
The H-1B is the primary work visa pathway for Quality Control Inspectors at GFT. If you're currently on F-1 OPT or STEM OPT, you can work while your employer prepares an H-1B petition for the next cap cycle. Other categories like O-1 or L-1 are possible in narrow circumstances but aren't the standard route for this role type.
What qualifications does GFT expect for Quality Control Inspector roles?
GFT's technology focus means they typically expect candidates who understand quality processes in software or digital delivery contexts, not just traditional manufacturing inspection. A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field strengthens your H-1B eligibility. Certifications in Six Sigma, ISO standards, or software QA methodologies are a practical differentiator when competing for these positions.
How long does the H-1B sponsorship process take for a GFT Quality Control Inspector role?
From offer to work authorization, the standard H-1B timeline runs roughly eight to twelve months if you're subject to the annual cap. GFT's legal team files the I-129 petition after USCIS registration in March, with an October 1 start date if selected. Premium processing, which USCIS adjudicates within 15 business days, is available and can reduce uncertainty around approval timing.
