Align your credentials to GFT's tech stack
GFT operates primarily in technology and software delivery, so certifications like ISTQB or CSTE carry more weight than general manufacturing quality credentials. Frame your resume around software QA methodologies, defect tracking tools, and agile testing environments before applying.
Target GFT's active Quality Inspector openings directly
GFT posts Quality Inspector roles across multiple locations, so filter by location and seniority to find postings aligned with your visa timeline. Applying to active openings signals intent and gives you a concrete job offer to anchor the H-1B petition.
Confirm the role qualifies as a specialty occupation
USCIS requires H-1B roles to meet the specialty occupation standard, meaning a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field must be a normal requirement for the position. For Quality Inspectors at a technology firm, tying your degree field to software engineering, computer science, or a related discipline strengthens that argument considerably.
Register for the H-1B lottery before April each year
USCIS opens H-1B registrations in March for the following fiscal year cap. If GFT selects you for sponsorship, your employer must submit the registration during that window. Missing this window means waiting a full year, so synchronize your offer timeline with the annual H-1B cycle.
Use Migrate Mate to find Quality Inspector roles at visa-sponsoring employers
Searching broadly wastes time on employers who won't sponsor. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Quality Inspector openings at companies with an H-1B sponsorship track record, so every application you send is to an employer already set up to support your visa.
Ask GFT's recruiter about in-house immigration support early
Some employers handle H-1B filings through outside counsel; others have dedicated immigration teams. Knowing GFT's process before you receive an offer lets you ask the right questions about premium processing availability and the Labor Condition Application timeline through DOL.

Find Quality Inspector at GFT JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does GFT sponsor H-1B visas for Quality Inspectors?
Yes, GFT sponsors H-1B visas for Quality Inspector roles. The company operates in technology and software delivery, and Quality Inspector positions that require a relevant bachelor's degree can meet USCIS's specialty occupation standard. Your best path is to secure a written offer and confirm with the recruiter that H-1B sponsorship is included before your start date.
How do I apply for Quality Inspector jobs at GFT?
Search for open Quality Inspector positions on GFT's careers page or through a job board that filters for visa-sponsoring employers, like Migrate Mate. Tailor your application to highlight software QA experience, testing methodologies, and any relevant certifications. Once you receive an offer, GFT's HR team typically initiates the H-1B sponsorship process, including the DOL Labor Condition Application filing.
Which visa types are commonly used for Quality Inspector roles at GFT?
H-1B is the primary visa category used for Quality Inspector roles at GFT. Because GFT is a technology and software company, the role can often be structured to satisfy USCIS specialty occupation criteria. Candidates with eligible nationalities may also explore the TN visa if they are Canadian or Mexican, or the E-3 if they are Australian citizens.
What qualifications does GFT expect for Quality Inspector positions?
GFT typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a closely related field. Hands-on experience with software testing frameworks, defect management tools, and agile delivery environments is expected. Certifications such as ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance credentials strengthen your application and support the specialty occupation classification USCIS requires for H-1B approval.
How do I time my application around the H-1B process at GFT?
The H-1B cap registration window opens each March for an October 1 start date. If you are not already on a valid work visa, aim to receive a job offer from GFT by February so there is time to prepare the DOL Labor Condition Application and USCIS petition. Cap-exempt scenarios, such as if you are transferring from another H-1B employer, allow year-round filing without waiting for the annual lottery.
