Frame your PM credentials around design-adjacent delivery
Figma's Project Program Manager roles sit close to product and design workflows. Tailor your resume to show experience coordinating engineering and design teams, not just generic project delivery. USCIS evaluates specialty occupation based on the specific role requirements Figma documents.
Identify Figma's cross-functional team structure before applying
Figma organizes program management around platform, growth, and enterprise product lines. Research which team is hiring and align your application materials to that division's known priorities, so your outreach reads as role-specific rather than a broad inquiry.
Clarify sponsorship scope during the recruiter screen
Ask explicitly whether the role supports both H-1B transfer and new cap-subject petitions. Some Figma openings are backfill positions that move faster, while new headcount roles may follow a different internal approval timeline that affects your start date.
Time your application around the H-1B cap calendar
If you need a cap-subject H-1B, Figma must file in the March registration window for an October 1 start. Build your job search timeline backward from that date so an offer is in place before the USCIS registration period opens.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Project Program Manager roles at Figma by visa type
Search Migrate Mate's job board to filter Figma's current Project Program Manager openings by the visa categories the company supports, so you spend your time on roles where your specific immigration status is already accounted for.
Confirm LCA wage level alignment with your target title
Figma files a Labor Condition Application with DOL before every H-1B petition, certifying a prevailing wage for the exact job title and worksite. If your offer reflects a senior scope, verify the LCA wage level matches to avoid petition delays.

Find Project Program Manager at Figma JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Figma sponsor H-1B visas for Project Program Managers?
Yes, Figma sponsors H-1B visas for Project Program Manager roles. The company files both cap-subject petitions for new H-1B beneficiaries and H-1B transfer petitions for candidates already holding valid H-1B status with another employer. If you need a new cap-subject H-1B, your offer needs to align with the USCIS March registration window for an October 1 start date.
Which visa types does Figma sponsor for Project Program Manager roles?
Figma sponsors H-1B and H-1B1 visas for nonimmigrant work authorization, along with E-3 visas for Australian citizens. For longer-term pathways, the company supports EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based Green Card petitions. F-1 OPT holders are also eligible, which covers recent graduates in their initial OPT or STEM OPT extension period.
What qualifications does Figma expect for Project Program Manager roles?
Figma's Project Program Manager positions typically require a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, business, or engineering, combined with experience managing cross-functional programs in a technology environment. Familiarity with product development cycles, agile methodologies, and coordinating between design and engineering teams is consistently reflected in Figma's job postings for this function.
How do I apply for Project Program Manager jobs at Figma?
You can browse and apply for Project Program Manager openings at Figma directly through their careers page, or use Migrate Mate to filter Figma's current listings by the visa types you need sponsorship for. When applying, tailor your materials to the specific team and product line the role supports, and address cross-functional delivery experience explicitly in your resume and cover letter.
How do I plan my timeline if I need Figma to sponsor my visa for a Project Program Manager role?
The timeline depends on your current status. H-1B transfers can begin any time with a relatively quick USCIS processing window, while cap-subject H-1B petitions require a March registration and an October 1 start. E-3 visas for Australian citizens can be processed at a U.S. consulate in a matter of weeks. STEM OPT extensions give F-1 holders up to 24 additional months to secure sponsorship, which provides more runway to complete Figma's hiring process.
