Frame credentials around retail operations complexity
Chewy's program management roles sit at the intersection of e-commerce, fulfillment, and vendor operations. Tailor your resume to show experience managing multi-stakeholder projects in fast-moving retail or logistics environments, not just generic project delivery.
Identify open roles before your OPT clock runs out
F-1 OPT gives you a limited window to secure an offer and start employment. Target Chewy's Project Program Manager postings early enough that your start date falls well within your authorized period, leaving room for onboarding paperwork and any E-Verify processing delays.
Search Chewy's open positions through Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Chewy's Project Program Manager openings by visa sponsorship type. This narrows your search to roles where Chewy has actively filed for workers in your category, so you're not applying blind.
Clarify sponsorship scope during recruiter screening
Chewy sponsors multiple visa types, but not every hiring team treats each category the same way. Ask directly during the recruiter call whether the specific role supports your visa type and whether the team has handled that process before.
Prepare for H-1B filing timelines before you accept
If your offer depends on an H-1B cap-subject petition, USCIS registration opens in March for an October 1 start. Confirm with Chewy's immigration team whether they file with premium processing, since standard adjudication can run several months after selection.
Align your PERM timing with Chewy's promotion cycles
If you're targeting a Green Card through the EB-2 or EB-3 pathway, DOL's PERM process typically takes over a year from initiation. Starting that conversation with your Chewy manager early in your tenure, rather than waiting until you feel settled, keeps your timeline realistic.

Find Project Program Manager at Chewy JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Chewy sponsor H-1B visas for Project Program Managers?
Yes, Chewy sponsors H-1B visas for Project Program Manager roles. The company has a consistent history of filing H-1B petitions for this function across its retail and supply chain operations. If you're cap-subject, you'll need to go through the USCIS registration lottery in March, with an October 1 start date if selected. Chewy typically works with outside immigration counsel to manage the filing process.
Which visa types does Chewy commonly sponsor for Project Program Managers?
Chewy sponsors H-1B, TN, and Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for Project Program Manager roles. F-1 OPT and CPT are also supported, which is common for candidates transitioning from university programs into their first program management role in the U.S. TN status is available for Canadian and Mexican nationals whose role qualifies under USMCA-defined occupational categories.
What qualifications does Chewy expect for Project Program Manager roles?
Chewy's Project Program Manager roles typically require a bachelor's degree in business, operations, supply chain, or a related field, along with demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects. Familiarity with retail or e-commerce environments is a strong differentiator. PMP certification or experience with project management tooling is often listed in job descriptions. For visa sponsorship purposes, your degree must directly support the specialty occupation designation on any H-1B petition.
How do I apply for Project Program Manager jobs at Chewy?
You can browse and apply for Project Program Manager positions at Chewy directly through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm Chewy is actively sponsoring for the position before applying. Once you identify a match, applications go through Chewy's careers portal. If you're on OPT or another time-sensitive status, apply early to leave room for offer processing and any E-Verify requirements before your authorization window closes.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Chewy Project Program Manager offer?
Timeline depends on your visa type. H-1B cap-subject petitions follow the annual USCIS lottery cycle, meaning a March registration for an October 1 start. Premium processing reduces adjudication time to around 15 business days after filing. TN status can be obtained at a port of entry in a single day for qualifying Canadian nationals. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship through DOL typically adds one to two years beyond your initial H-1B approval.
