Align Your Resume to LCA Job Codes
JPMorganChase files Labor Condition Applications with the DOL under specific job titles. Search the DOL's OFLC disclosure database for their LCA filings under 'Operations Manager' to confirm the exact titles and work locations they're actively sponsoring before you apply.
Target Business Lines That Sponsor Consistently
Operations Manager roles in JPMorganChase's Commercial Banking, Asset Management, and Corporate and Investment Bank divisions appear most frequently in public LCA filings. Focusing your applications on these lines improves your odds of landing a role tied to an active sponsorship track record.
Verify Your Degree Field Matches the Petition
For H-1B specialty occupation approval, your degree must correspond directly to the operations management function. A degree in business administration, finance, or industrial engineering typically satisfies USCIS requirements. A general studies or unrelated degree creates RFE risk even at a large employer like JPMorganChase.
Prepare for Internal Transfers If Already in the U.S.
If you're on OPT or another employer's H-1B, JPMorganChase can file an H-1B transfer petition that takes effect upon filing, not approval. Confirm with the recruiting team early that the specific role is eligible for cap-exempt transfer processing to avoid a gap in work authorization.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter Open Roles by Visa Type
Operations Manager openings at JPMorganChase span dozens of business units and locations. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for roles where JPMorganChase has a verified sponsorship history, so you're applying to positions with a realistic path to an H-1B, E-3, or Green Card petition.
Negotiate Offer Timing Around the H-1B Cap Cycle
If you need a new H-1B cap number, JPMorganChase must register you in USCIS's lottery in March for an October 1 start date. Timing your offer acceptance and any resignation from a current role around this window prevents you from starting employment only to face a six-month wait.

Find Operations Manager at JPMorganChase JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does JPMorganChase sponsor H-1B visas for Operations Managers?
Yes, JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B visas for Operations Manager roles across multiple business lines. The company participates in the annual H-1B cap lottery for new applicants and also files cap-exempt transfers for candidates already holding H-1B status with another employer. Sponsorship availability can vary by division and work location, so confirming eligibility during the recruiter screen is the right first step.
Which visa types does JPMorganChase sponsor for Operations Manager roles?
JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas for Operations Manager positions depending on your nationality. Australian citizens are eligible for the E-3 visa, which has no lottery and allows two-year renewable periods. Chilean and Singaporean nationals can use the H-1B1. For permanent residence, JPMorganChase also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship for qualifying employees in this function.
What qualifications does JPMorganChase expect for Operations Manager positions?
JPMorganChase typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field for Operations Manager roles. In practice, candidates who progress through interviews usually have experience in process improvement, cross-functional project coordination, or risk and controls within financial services. For visa sponsorship purposes, your degree field needs to correspond directly to the job duties to satisfy USCIS specialty occupation standards.
How do I apply for Operations Manager jobs at JPMorganChase?
You can browse and apply for Operations Manager roles at JPMorganChase through Migrate Mate, which filters openings by visa sponsorship history so you can target positions where sponsorship has been filed before. Applications go through JPMorganChase's own recruiting system, and the process typically involves an initial recruiter screen, one or two panel interviews focused on operations experience, and a formal offer before any visa paperwork begins.
How do I understand the timeline for H-1B sponsorship at JPMorganChase?
If you need a new H-1B cap number, JPMorganChase must submit your registration during USCIS's lottery window in March. If selected, USCIS targets a petition approval before October 1, when the new fiscal year begins. Premium processing is available for a faster decision on the petition itself, but it doesn't accelerate the lottery. Candidates already on H-1B status can transfer immediately upon filing, with no October 1 constraint.
