Frame Your Degree Around Specialty Occupation
Consulting Analyst roles at Deloitte typically require a directly related bachelor's degree. Make sure your resume and credentials clearly connect your field of study to business analysis, strategy, or management consulting before you apply.
Target Deloitte's Campus Recruiting Cycles Early
Deloitte fills most entry-level Consulting Analyst headcount through structured campus recruiting in fall and spring. Connecting with Deloitte recruiters at target university events before full-time roles open gives you a meaningful edge over general applicants.
Distinguish Between Deloitte's Business Segments
Consulting Analyst openings sit across Deloitte Consulting, Deloitte Government and Public Services, and other segments, each with different project types and sponsorship timelines. Identify which practice aligns with your background before applying so your targeting is precise.
Browse Open Consulting Analyst Roles on Migrate Mate
Sponsorship-confirmed Consulting Analyst openings at Deloitte can be hard to surface on general job boards. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Deloitte roles that support H-1B, E-3, or other visa types relevant to your situation.
Clarify Visa Type Before Accepting an Offer
Deloitte sponsors multiple visa categories for this role. If you're Australian, confirm early whether your offer will be structured as an E-3 or H-1B, since the filing process, timing, and employer obligations differ significantly between the two.
Understand Cap-Season Timing If You're on OPT
If you're on F-1 OPT when you receive a Deloitte offer, your start date and H-1B cap-gap coverage will depend on when USCIS selects your registration. Align your offer start date with your OPT expiration and the October 1 H-1B activation date to avoid a gap in work authorization.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Deloitte sponsor H-1B visas for Consulting Analysts?
Yes, Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas for Consulting Analyst roles. Deloitte participates in the annual H-1B cap lottery and files petitions for qualifying candidates, typically those entering on F-1 OPT or changing status from another nonimmigrant category. Because the H-1B is subject to the 85,000-slot annual cap and lottery selection, offer timing and start dates are closely tied to the USCIS registration window each March.
How do I apply for Consulting Analyst jobs at Deloitte?
Most Consulting Analyst roles at Deloitte are filled through campus recruiting programs or direct applications through Deloitte's careers portal. Sponsorship-confirmed openings can also be found on Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa type so you can identify positions where H-1B, E-3, or other sponsorship is explicitly supported before you apply.
Which visa types does Deloitte commonly sponsor for Consulting Analyst roles?
Deloitte sponsors H-1B and H-1B1 visas for most international Consulting Analysts, along with the E-3 visa for Australian citizens and employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for longer-tenured employees. Which category applies to you depends on your nationality, degree, and where you are in your career at the time of the petition.
What qualifications does Deloitte expect for Consulting Analyst roles?
Deloitte generally expects a bachelor's degree in a field directly relevant to the role, such as business, economics, finance, engineering, or information systems. For H-1B purposes, the degree must support a specialty occupation determination, so a close match between your major and the job's analytical or strategic functions matters. Strong academic performance, internship experience in consulting or related fields, and proficiency with data analysis tools strengthen your candidacy.
How does the sponsorship timeline work for a Consulting Analyst offer at Deloitte?
If you're on F-1 OPT, Deloitte will typically file your H-1B registration during the March cap-season window for an October 1 start. If selected, your petition is filed and you're covered by cap-gap rules if your OPT expires before October. For E-3 applicants, the process moves faster since the E-3 has no lottery and can be filed at a U.S. consulate within weeks of receiving a certified Labor Condition Application from the DOL.
