For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Ohio, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to Ohio and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,600 to $159,300.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

Align your credentials to specialty occupation standards
Deloitte's Data Analyst roles typically require a degree in statistics, computer science, economics, or a directly related field. Ensure your transcripts and any foreign credential evaluations explicitly reflect that field alignment before you apply.
Target practice areas with dedicated analytics teams
Deloitte's Government and Public Services and Financial Advisory practices run large, structured data operations with recurring analyst headcount needs. Applying to openings within these practices increases your odds of landing a role built for long-term sponsorship.
Use Migrate Mate to filter analyst roles by visa type
Not every Data Analyst opening at Deloitte is posted with sponsorship details. Use Migrate Mate to filter Deloitte's active listings by the visa types you need, so you're only spending time on roles that match your immigration situation.
Clarify sponsorship scope before the offer stage
Deloitte sponsors multiple visa categories for Data Analysts, including H-1B, H-1B1 visa, and E-3. Confirm early in the recruiting process which visa type applies to your situation, since the filing requirements and timelines differ significantly across categories.
Anticipate the PERM timeline if targeting a Green Card
If long-term residency is your goal, understand that PERM labor certification through the DOL typically takes one to two years before an EB-2 or EB-3 petition can be filed. Raise this conversation with your recruiter once you have an offer in hand.
Prepare for technical and case-based screening in one process
Deloitte's analyst interviews combine SQL and data modeling assessments with consulting-style case interviews. Treating these as separate preparation tracks is a common mistake. Practicing both concurrently reflects how Deloitte actually structures the process for analyst candidates.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Deloitte sponsor H-1B visas for Data Analysts?
Yes, Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas for Data Analyst roles. The firm participates in the annual H-1B lottery, so timing your application process around the USCIS registration window in March is important. Deloitte also sponsors H-1B1 visas for Chilean and Singaporean nationals and E-3 visas for Australian citizens, which avoid the lottery entirely.
How do I apply for Data Analyst jobs at Deloitte?
Applications go through Deloitte's careers portal, where openings are listed by practice area, location, and level. You can also browse Data Analyst roles at Deloitte that are open to visa sponsorship directly through Migrate Mate, which filters by visa type so you only see positions that match your immigration status. Tailoring your application to the specific practice area and its client base improves your chances significantly.
Which visa types does Deloitte commonly use for Data Analyst roles?
Deloitte uses H-1B for most international Data Analyst hires, along with H-1B1 visa for eligible Chilean and Singaporean nationals and E-3 for Australian citizens. For candidates pursuing permanent residence, Deloitte also files EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card petitions through PERM labor certification with the DOL. The right visa type depends on your nationality and career stage.
What qualifications does Deloitte expect for Data Analyst roles?
Most Data Analyst roles at Deloitte require a bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field such as statistics, economics, computer science, or engineering. Proficiency in SQL and at least one analytics or visualization tool is standard. Roles within specific practices, such as Financial Advisory or Government and Public Services, often expect domain knowledge on top of technical ability.
How do I time my job search around the H-1B filing process at Deloitte?
USCIS opens H-1B registration in March each year, with an October 1 start date for approved petitions. To be included in that cycle, you need an offer and a completed I-129 petition filed by April. That means targeting Deloitte's recruiting process in the preceding fall or winter, particularly through campus recruiting or early-career programs, to allow enough lead time for the filing process.
