About The Team
The SevenRooms Data & Analytics team is the foundational data hub for the SevenRooms business — owning the pipelines, models, dashboards, and predictive systems that power decisions across GTM, Product, Finance, and Partnerships. We sit at the intersection of SevenRooms and the broader DoorDash data ecosystem, and we partner globally with teams across the US, UK, UAE, and Australia supporting all customer segments from SMB through Enterprise. We design and maintain the pipelines, models, and infrastructure that connect SevenRooms' systems with the broader DoorDash data ecosystem — and we're investing aggressively in making our datasets ready for both human and AI consumption.
About The Role
We're hiring a Manager of Data & Analytics to lead the SevenRooms D&A team — a team of six (and growing to eight) analysts and engineers responsible for the data products, AI systems, and reporting infrastructure that the rest of the business runs on. You will be both a people leader and a senior technical voice in the room: coaching analysts and engineers on their craft, owning the data roadmap end-to-end, partnering with executive stakeholders across geographies and segments, and rolling up your sleeves on the highest-complexity work. In your first 90 days, you will absorb the team's in-flight roadmap, build trust with stakeholders across S&O, GTM, Product, Finance, and Partnerships, and partner with leadership on the prioritization framework that governs what the team takes on next. Our 2026 roadmap spans the full data value chain: GenAI agents that audit Salesforce in real time, churn and ICP models that drive CSM and AE prioritization, the MRR/ARPV reporting layer that finance and leadership run the business on, and the Netsuite integration that will modernize how we report revenue. You will report into the Senior Manager, Strategy & Operations in our In-Store organization.
You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will…
- Lead, coach, and grow a team of senior analysts and BI engineers — running performance, career development, and hiring end-to-end.
- Own the D&A roadmap across GTM, Product, Finance, and Partnerships, balancing the team's investment between predictive AI/ML systems, traditional reporting, and cross-functional analytics.
- Act as the senior data voice in executive conversations — translating business problems into technical scope, pushing back when a request is the wrong shape, and influencing how leaders across segments make decisions.
- Translate narrow, well-defined GTM problems into shipped solutions — designing prompts, integrating with Salesforce and our GTM stack via APIs, and instrumenting the leading indicators that prove ROI.
- Partner closely with GTM Engineering, GTM Systems, and Revenue Insights to define a clean "Build vs. Run" operating model and unlock the next generation of AI-powered GTM products.
- Contribute to the team-wide AI developer infrastructure (skills libraries, MCP integrations, prompt frameworks) that makes every D&A engineer and analyst faster at deploying AI.
- Help establish the technical patterns and reusable components that will power our next generation of GTM AI products as the function scales.
We’re Excited About You Because…
- 6+ years of experience in data analytics, BI engineering, or analytics engineering in a B2B SaaS environment, with demonstrated technical depth in SQL, DBT, and a modern cloud data warehouse (Snowflake or BigQuery).
- 2+ years of people management experience leading a team of analysts, engineers, or a hybrid of both — including hiring, performance management, and career development.
- Hands-on experience owning enterprise data infrastructure (Looker or equivalent BI tooling, DBT modeling at scale, Salesforce-to-warehouse pipelines) and the judgment to know when to invest in foundations versus ship for speed.
- Proven track record of partnering with executive stakeholders across functions — translating ambiguous business problems into scoped technical work, and pushing back constructively when scope or data readiness is the real blocker.
- Working fluency with modern AI and ML approaches (predictive modeling, LLM-powered workflows, the GenAI tooling ecosystem) and the ability to mentor a team building production AI systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to lead distributed teams across multiple time zones and represent the team in senior cross-functional forums.

Tailor your portfolio to marketplace analytics
DoorDash evaluates analysts on experimentation design, funnel analysis, and supply-demand modeling. Before applying, build out portfolio projects that demonstrate A/B testing methodology or logistics optimization, since generic dashboards won't differentiate you in a competitive review process.
Target teams where sponsorship is routine
DoorDash's product and operations analytics teams file across H-1B, E-3, and TN categories regularly. Focus your applications on roles under those functions, since sponsorship decisions are often made at the team level before an offer is extended.
Clarify your visa category before the offer stage
DoorDash sponsors multiple visa types, so tell your recruiter early which category applies to you. Australians on E-3 and Canadians on TN have faster timelines than H-1B, which can make you a more attractive candidate when a team needs to hire quickly.
Prepare for LCA wage level scrutiny
DoorDash's immigration team files Labor Condition Applications with the DOL before your start date, and wage level matters. Make sure your offered title and responsibilities align with a Level II or Level III LCA, or USCIS may issue a Request for Evidence on specialty occupation.
Use OPT strategically if you're on F-1
If you're currently on F-1 OPT, your 60-day unemployment clock starts the moment your authorization period begins. Line up your DoorDash start date before OPT activates, not after, so you don't burn unauthorized days while waiting for onboarding.
Search DoorDash openings filtered by sponsorship on Migrate Mate
Data Analyst roles at DoorDash open and close quickly across different teams. Use Migrate Mate to filter open positions by visa type so you're applying to roles where sponsorship is already confirmed, not discovering that detail after a three-round interview.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does DoorDash sponsor H-1B visas for Data Analysts?
Yes, DoorDash sponsors H-1B visas for Data Analyst roles. The process requires your employer to file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL and then submit Form I-129 to USCIS. Because H-1B is subject to an annual lottery with an April registration window, timing your job search to align with that cycle matters significantly for new cap-subject applicants.
Which visa types does DoorDash commonly sponsor for Data Analyst roles?
DoorDash sponsors a range of visa categories for analytical roles, including H-1B, H-1B1 visa for Singaporean and Chilean nationals, E-3 visa for Australians, TN visa for Canadians and Mexicans, F-1 OPT and CPT for students, J-1 visa, and EB-2 or EB-3 for employment-based Green Card pathways. The right category depends on your nationality, degree, and career stage.
What qualifications does DoorDash expect for Data Analyst roles?
DoorDash typically expects proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language such as Python or R, along with hands-on experience in A/B testing, product analytics, or operational reporting. Roles on growth and product teams often require familiarity with experimentation platforms. A bachelor's degree in statistics, computer science, economics, or a related quantitative field is standard for specialty occupation visa filings.
How do I apply for Data Analyst jobs at DoorDash?
Use Migrate Mate to browse open Data Analyst positions at DoorDash filtered by the visa type you need, so you can confirm sponsorship eligibility before applying. Applications go through DoorDash's careers portal. The interview process typically includes a SQL or analytical take-home, followed by technical and cross-functional interviews with the hiring team.
How do I plan my timeline if DoorDash extends a Data Analyst offer requiring H-1B sponsorship?
If you're cap-subject, DoorDash would register you in the USCIS H-1B lottery, which opens in March each year for an October 1 start date. If selected, the I-129 petition must be filed by June 30. That means an offer in spring or summer may not translate to an authorized start date until October, so factor a potential six-month gap into your planning.
