The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $128,000 to $252,500.

Frame your credentials around Deloitte's delivery frameworks
Deloitte project managers are typically expected to hold PMP certification or equivalent and demonstrate experience with structured methodologies like Agile or SAFe. Aligning your resume to these frameworks signals readiness for client-facing delivery work before your first interview.
Target practice areas with sustained project demand
Deloitte's Government and Public Services and Technology practices consistently run large-scale transformation engagements that require dedicated project management support. Applying to roles within these practices improves your odds of landing on a team with active, long-horizon client work.
Browse open roles using Migrate Mate to filter by sponsorship
Not every Project Management Specialist listing at Deloitte explicitly flags visa sponsorship. Use Migrate Mate to surface roles where Deloitte has an active sponsorship track record, so you're applying to positions where the pathway is already established.
Clarify sponsorship scope during the offer stage
Deloitte's immigration support can vary by business unit and whether your role is billable to a client. During the offer conversation, ask directly whether the position qualifies for H-1B or E-3 sponsorship and which internal team handles the filing, before negotiating other terms.
Understand how client placement affects your LCA
Because Deloitte places project managers at client sites, your Labor Condition Application filed with DOL must reflect the worksite location, not just Deloitte's office address. If you rotate across multiple client sites, your employer needs to handle prevailing wage compliance for each location.
Plan Green Card timing around Deloitte's PERM process
Deloitte sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards, but PERM recruitment and filing typically begins only after you've been in a stable role for a year or more. If permanent residency is your goal, confirm the firm's standard timeline early so it aligns with your visa status runway.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Deloitte sponsor H-1B visas for Project Management Specialists?
Yes, Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas for Project Management Specialists. The firm has an established immigration program and regularly files H-1B petitions for this function. Sponsorship is generally tied to whether the role meets the specialty occupation standard under USCIS criteria, which typically requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a directly related field such as business, engineering, or information systems.
Which visa types does Deloitte commonly sponsor for Project Management Specialist roles?
Deloitte sponsors H-1B, H-1B1 visa, and E-3 visas for Project Management Specialists, depending on your nationality. Australian citizens are eligible for the E-3, which has no lottery and can be processed faster than the H-1B. For permanent residency, Deloitte supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process for employees who have been in a qualifying role long enough to meet internal eligibility thresholds.
How do I apply for Project Management Specialist jobs at Deloitte?
Applications go through Deloitte's careers portal, where roles are listed by practice area and location. You can also find Project Management Specialist positions at Deloitte filtered by visa sponsorship track record on Migrate Mate, which helps you identify listings where sponsorship is actively supported. Tailoring your application to reflect Deloitte's delivery methodology and client-facing project experience significantly improves your chances of moving to the interview stage.
What qualifications and experience does Deloitte expect for Project Management Specialist roles?
Deloitte typically expects a bachelor's degree in business, technology, engineering, or a related field, along with PMP certification or demonstrated progress toward it. Practical experience managing cross-functional workstreams, stakeholder communication, and budget tracking in a consulting or professional services environment is valued. Familiarity with Agile and waterfall methodologies matters, particularly for roles supporting technology transformation engagements within the firm's advisory or government practices.
How do I know if a Project Management Specialist role at Deloitte will lead to Green Card sponsorship?
Deloitte supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship, but it's not automatic or immediate. The PERM labor certification process through DOL requires the employer to demonstrate that no qualified U.S. worker is available for the role, which takes time to initiate. You should ask directly during the offer process whether your specific business unit sponsors Green Cards and what the typical timeline looks like, since this can vary across Deloitte's practice areas.
