Align your credentials to Deloitte's specialty occupation standard
Performance Manager roles at Deloitte typically require a bachelor's or master's degree in business, finance, or a related field. Gather official transcripts and, if your degree is from outside the U.S., a credential evaluation from a NACES-approved service before you apply.
Target Deloitte's advisory and consulting practice areas
Deloitte posts Performance Manager openings across Government and Public Services, Financial Advisory, and Human Capital practices. Narrowing your search to a practice area that matches your background sharpens your fit and gives you a clearer story for recruiters during screening calls.
Research open Performance Manager roles using Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate filters Deloitte job postings by visa sponsorship eligibility, so you can confirm which Performance Manager openings are open to sponsored candidates before investing time in an application or preparing your materials.
Understand how the LCA affects your offer negotiation
Before Deloitte files your H-1B or H-1B1 petition, it must submit a Labor Condition Application to the DOL certifying your wage meets the prevailing rate for your location and role level. The LCA wage floor can set a practical minimum you should factor into your offer discussion.
Prepare for internal mobility if a Green Card is your goal
Deloitte supports EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship for permanent residence, but PERM labor certification timelines are long. Experienced Performance Managers who rotate across engagements should document their responsibilities carefully, since PERM requires a precise job description that reflects your actual duties at the time of filing.

Find Performance Manager at Deloitte JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Deloitte sponsor H-1B visas for Performance Managers?
Yes, Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas for Performance Manager roles. Deloitte participates in the annual H-1B cap lottery for new petitions, and it also files cap-exempt petitions in certain circumstances. Because Performance Manager positions require specialized business or consulting expertise, they generally satisfy the USCIS specialty occupation standard needed to support an H-1B petition.
How do I apply for Performance Manager jobs at Deloitte?
You can browse open Performance Manager positions directly on Deloitte's careers portal or use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Deloitte roles that include visa sponsorship. Applications typically require a resume, and shortlisted candidates go through a structured process involving recruiter screening, competency-based interviews, and a case or presentation component depending on the practice area.
Which visa types does Deloitte commonly use for Performance Manager roles?
Deloitte sponsors H-1B and H-1B1 visas for Performance Managers, along with E-3 visas for Australian nationals. For candidates pursuing permanent residence, Deloitte supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship through PERM labor certification. The visa type offered typically depends on your nationality, current immigration status, and where you are in your career at Deloitte.
What qualifications does Deloitte expect for a sponsored Performance Manager role?
Deloitte generally expects a bachelor's or master's degree in business, management, finance, or a closely related discipline, combined with several years of relevant consulting or project management experience. For visa sponsorship purposes, your degree must directly relate to the Performance Manager role to satisfy USCIS specialty occupation requirements. Prior experience within a Big Four or equivalent professional services firm strengthens your candidacy.
How do I time my application if I am currently on OPT or a grace period?
If you are on F-1 OPT, you need to secure an offer early enough for Deloitte to file your H-1B petition during the April registration window, with employment beginning October 1. If your OPT expires before October 1, STEM OPT extension may bridge the gap. During a 60-day grace period between jobs, you cannot work, so prioritizing an offer before your grace period ends is critical.
