Align your credentials to PE-track expectations
ENTRUST's engineering work spans utility and infrastructure consulting, where clients expect EIT registration and a clear path to Professional Engineer licensure. Have your FE exam status documented and ready to discuss before your first interview.
Research which projects match your discipline
ENTRUST staffs Mechanical Engineers across energy, pipeline, and facilities projects. Target roles that match your specific subdiscipline, such as HVAC, piping systems, or rotating equipment, so your application speaks directly to the project teams hiring.
Browse open roles through Migrate Mate
ENTRUST Solutions Group lists Mechanical Engineer roles actively, and Migrate Mate filters those openings by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm H-1B or TN eligibility before applying. It removes the guesswork from identifying which postings are sponsorship-confirmed.
Clarify TN status applicability for Canadian applicants
If you hold Canadian citizenship, the TN visa is a faster path into ENTRUST than H-1B. Mechanical Engineer is a qualifying TN occupation, and your employer can support your documentation at the port of entry without a USCIS petition or waiting period.
Request the H-1B sponsorship conversation early in the offer stage
ENTRUST sponsors H-1B petitions, but the H-1B cap registration window opens in March each year and employment cannot begin until October 1. Raise sponsorship requirements before final-round interviews so HR can confirm timeline alignment with your start date.
Prepare DOL prevailing wage documentation proactively
For H-1B and PERM-based Green Card filings, DOL assigns a prevailing wage level based on your job duties and location. Gather your official job description, relevant experience records, and any prior LCA filings to help your employer's attorney submit an accurate wage determination.

Find Mechanical Engineer at ENTRUST Solutions Group JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does ENTRUST Solutions Group sponsor H-1B visas for Mechanical Engineers?
Yes, ENTRUST Solutions Group sponsors H-1B visas for Mechanical Engineers. The company has a documented sponsorship history across engineering functions, including roles tied to utility and infrastructure consulting projects. Because H-1B cap-subject petitions follow USCIS's annual lottery in March with an October 1 start date, you'll want to align your offer timeline accordingly and confirm sponsorship intent before accepting an offer.
How do I apply for Mechanical Engineer jobs at ENTRUST Solutions Group?
You can browse and apply for Mechanical Engineer roles at ENTRUST Solutions Group directly through their careers page or through Migrate Mate, which filters ENTRUST's open positions by visa sponsorship type. When applying, tailor your resume to the specific project discipline advertised, whether that's power systems, facilities, or pipeline engineering, since ENTRUST's Mechanical Engineer roles vary significantly by practice area.
Which visa types does ENTRUST Solutions Group commonly sponsor for Mechanical Engineers?
ENTRUST Solutions Group sponsors H-1B visas, employment-based Green Cards (EB-2 and EB-3), and supports F-1 OPT and CPT for students and recent graduates. Canadian citizens can also qualify under the TN visa category, since Mechanical Engineer is an explicitly listed TN occupation under USMCA, making it a straightforward option for Canadian applicants without H-1B lottery exposure.
What qualifications does ENTRUST Solutions Group expect for Mechanical Engineer roles?
Most Mechanical Engineer roles at ENTRUST require a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field, which is also the minimum educational standard for H-1B specialty occupation eligibility. Practical experience with utility or infrastructure projects strengthens your application significantly. EIT registration is frequently expected for early-career candidates, and PE licensure or active pursuit of it is common for mid-level and senior positions.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Mechanical Engineer at ENTRUST Solutions Group?
Timeline depends on the visa type. TN status for Canadian citizens can be obtained at a port of entry in a single day with proper documentation. H-1B petitions filed under the standard process take three to six months with USCIS after the October 1 start date. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship, when ENTRUST pursues EB-2 or EB-3, typically runs 12 to 24 months before the I-140 petition stage, depending on DOL processing backlogs.
