Align your credentials to ENTRUST's project scope
ENTRUST's electrical engineering work sits heavily in utility and energy infrastructure. Certifications like PE licensure or experience with transmission and distribution systems will carry more weight in their hiring review than general electrical credentials.
Target roles that map to PERM-eligible positions
ENTRUST has pursued Green Card sponsorship through PERM for engineering roles. When reviewing job postings, look for minimum requirements rather than preferred qualifications. DOL PERM filings require the job description to reflect actual minimum requirements, so overbuilt postings can create complications for your petition.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Electrical Engineer roles
ENTRUST regularly posts Electrical Engineer positions across multiple regions. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for roles at ENTRUST that match your visa type, so you're applying to openings where sponsorship is already confirmed rather than guessing from a generic job board.
Negotiate your start date around H-1B cap timelines
If you need cap-subject H-1B sponsorship, USCIS only accepts petitions starting April 1 for an October 1 start date. Build this into your offer discussion early so your start date reflects that window and your employer can plan the filing accordingly.
Prepare a project portfolio before interviews
ENTRUST's consulting model means interviewers assess whether you can contribute to client-facing deliverables quickly. Document specific projects involving load flow analysis, protection coordination, or substation design. Concrete technical examples reduce uncertainty for hiring managers evaluating sponsored candidates.

Does ENTRUST Solutions Group sponsor H-1B visas for Electrical Engineers?
Yes, ENTRUST Solutions Group sponsors H-1B visas for Electrical Engineers. The company has an active sponsorship track record for engineering roles, and H-1B is among the visa types they support. If you're in the H-1B cap cycle, expect to align your offer and start date with USCIS's April filing window and October 1 start date.
How do I apply for Electrical Engineer jobs at ENTRUST Solutions Group?
You can browse and apply for Electrical Engineer roles at ENTRUST Solutions Group directly through Migrate Mate, which filters for visa-sponsoring employers so you know sponsorship is available before you apply. ENTRUST posts positions across multiple locations, and roles vary from entry-level design work to senior project engineering. Tailor your application to the specific technical domain listed in the posting, whether that's transmission, distribution, or substation work.
Which visa types does ENTRUST Solutions Group commonly use for Electrical Engineers?
ENTRUST Solutions Group sponsors H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and pursues EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways for Electrical Engineers. TN is available for Canadian and Mexican nationals with a qualifying engineering degree. F-1 OPT and CPT are options for students and recent graduates. The right pathway depends on your citizenship, current status, and career stage.
What qualifications does ENTRUST Solutions Group expect for Electrical Engineer roles?
ENTRUST's Electrical Engineer postings typically require a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent. Roles in their utility and infrastructure practice areas often expect familiarity with power systems, protection schemes, or AutoCAD and ETAP software. PE licensure is preferred for senior roles and may be required for client-facing project leads. Practical internship or co-op experience in a utility or consulting environment strengthens your candidacy.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take when joining ENTRUST Solutions Group?
Timeline depends on your visa type. TN sponsorship for Canadian nationals can be obtained at the border in a single day. H-1B cap filings take roughly six months from the April lottery to an October 1 start date, though USCIS premium processing can reduce adjudication to 15 business days. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3 typically takes one to three years before reaching the I-140 stage, depending on DOL audit backlogs and your priority date.
