Align your credentials to infrastructure project experience
ENTRUST works heavily in utility and infrastructure consulting, so tailor your resume to highlight structural analysis, load calculations, or utility corridor work. Vague project descriptions won't stand out against candidates with directly relevant field exposure.
Verify your degree meets specialty occupation standards
USCIS requires a direct relationship between your degree field and the Structural Engineer role. A civil engineering degree typically satisfies this, but a general engineering or unrelated STEM degree may require additional documentation showing equivalency before your employer petitions.
Prepare PE licensure or EIT documentation before interviews
Consulting firms like ENTRUST often expect candidates to hold an EIT or be actively pursuing Professional Engineer licensure. Having documented proof of your exam status or state board enrollment signals you're career-ready and removes a common hesitation in the offer stage.
Ask the recruiter directly about PERM and Green Card timelines
ENTRUST sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards, but DOL's PERM process can take a year or longer before an I-140 is filed. Clarify during the offer negotiation whether the company initiates PERM early and whether they support premium processing for the I-140.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Structural Engineer openings at ENTRUST
Searching broadly on general job boards buries sponsored roles in noise. Use Migrate Mate to filter Structural Engineer positions at ENTRUST Solutions Group specifically by visa type, so you're only applying to roles confirmed to support your sponsorship category.

Does ENTRUST Solutions Group sponsor H-1B visas for Structural Engineers?
Yes, ENTRUST Solutions Group sponsors H-1B visas for Structural Engineer roles. As a consulting firm with engineering operations across multiple states, they have an established process for supporting cap-subject H-1B petitions. If you're on F-1 OPT, the timing of your application matters, so target roles well ahead of the April USCIS filing window to give the company adequate runway to prepare your petition.
How do I apply for Structural Engineer jobs at ENTRUST Solutions Group?
You can search for open Structural Engineer positions directly on ENTRUST's careers page, or use Migrate Mate to filter their listings by visa sponsorship type so you only see roles confirmed to support your status. When applying, highlight project-specific structural experience relevant to utility and infrastructure work, which aligns closely with ENTRUST's core consulting focus.
Which visa types does ENTRUST Solutions Group commonly sponsor for Structural Engineer roles?
ENTRUST sponsors H-1B and TN visas for work authorization, along with F-1 OPT and CPT for students in eligible engineering programs. For longer-term immigration, the company also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways. TN is available for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying engineering occupations under the USMCA, and generally does not require advance USCIS approval.
What qualifications does ENTRUST Solutions Group expect for sponsored Structural Engineer positions?
A bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering is the standard baseline. USCIS requires the degree to relate directly to the role for H-1B specialty occupation eligibility, so adjacent degrees may need a credential evaluation. Many ENTRUST roles also expect familiarity with structural analysis software and progress toward EIT or PE licensure, particularly for positions that interface directly with utility clients.
How long does the visa sponsorship process typically take at a consulting firm like ENTRUST?
For H-1B, the standard USCIS processing window runs several months after the April filing date, with an October 1 start date for cap-subject cases. USCIS premium processing can reduce adjudication to around 15 business days for an additional fee. For Green Card sponsorship via PERM, expect at least one to two years from initiation through I-140 approval, depending on DOL audit rates and priority date backlogs.
