Align Your Credentials to Specialty Occupation Standards
Consultant roles at ENTRUST span engineering and infrastructure disciplines where USCIS requires a direct connection between your degree field and the specific work. Confirm your transcript supports the technical specialty you're being hired into before your first interview.
Target ENTRUST's Infrastructure and Utility Practices
ENTRUST staffs Consultants across electric, gas, and telecom utility sectors. Positioning your resume around sector-specific project experience, not generic consulting skills, signals fit for the practices most likely to have open sponsored roles.
Browse Open Consultant Roles Through Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Consultant openings at ENTRUST Solutions Group by visa type, so you're only reviewing roles where sponsorship is confirmed rather than guessing from a generic job board listing.
Clarify TN Eligibility Before Accepting an Offer
If you're a Canadian or Mexican national, TN status can support certain engineering or management consulting roles without the H-1B lottery. Confirm with ENTRUST's HR team that your specific job title maps to a qualifying TN profession under USMCA before the offer is finalized.
Understand the LCA Requirement in Your Offer Timeline
ENTRUST must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before submitting your H-1B petition. This step happens on the employer side, but knowing it exists helps you ask informed questions about your expected start date and avoid surprises during onboarding.
Use OPT or CPT to Build Relevant Consulting Experience Early
F-1 students targeting ENTRUST should seek OPT or CPT placements in utility, infrastructure, or engineering consulting roles. Documented project work in these sectors directly strengthens a future H-1B specialty occupation argument for a Consultant position.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does ENTRUST Solutions Group sponsor H-1B visas for Consultants?
Yes, ENTRUST Solutions Group sponsors H-1B visas for Consultant roles. Their sponsorship activity covers both new H-1B petitions and transfers for candidates already holding H-1B status with another employer. Because Consultant positions at ENTRUST involve technical and engineering disciplines, they generally satisfy USCIS specialty occupation requirements, which is a prerequisite for H-1B approval.
How do I apply for Consultant jobs at ENTRUST Solutions Group?
You can browse and apply for Consultant openings at ENTRUST Solutions Group through their careers page or through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm sponsorship availability before applying. When you apply, tailor your resume to ENTRUST's core practice areas, such as electric, gas, and telecom utility consulting, rather than submitting a generic consulting resume.
Which visa types does ENTRUST Solutions Group commonly use for Consultant roles?
ENTRUST sponsors H-1B visas as their primary pathway for Consultant roles and also supports F-1 OPT and CPT for students in relevant engineering or technical programs. EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship is available for longer-tenured employees. Canadian and Mexican nationals may qualify for TN visa status depending on the specific Consultant role and degree field.
What qualifications does ENTRUST Solutions Group expect for sponsored Consultant positions?
ENTRUST Consultant roles typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field. Relevant sector experience in utility, infrastructure, or energy environments strengthens your application significantly. Because H-1B approval requires demonstrating a specialty occupation, your degree field needs a clear, direct connection to the consulting work you'll be performing.
How do I plan my timeline if ENTRUST Solutions Group wants to sponsor my H-1B?
If you need a new H-1B cap-subject petition, ENTRUST must register you in the USCIS lottery that opens in March for an October 1 start date. If you're transferring an existing H-1B, ENTRUST can file at any time and you can start work once USCIS confirms receipt. For F-1 OPT holders, confirm your OPT expiration date early so ENTRUST has enough lead time to file before your authorization lapses.
