- Support CPM schedule development, updates, and progress tracking.

Frame Your Degree Around Specialty Occupation
Consulting roles at Arcadis span water, mobility, and resilience advisory. Make sure your resume and transcripts clearly tie your engineering or technical degree to the specific service line you're targeting, since USCIS scrutinizes specialty occupation eligibility tightly for broad consultant titles.
Target Arcadis Service Lines Strategically
Arcadis recruits heavily for project-based consultant roles in environment, infrastructure, and places. Applying directly to a service line team rather than a generic consulting pool signals domain fit and makes it easier for hiring managers to justify sponsorship against a specific project need.
Clarify TN Eligibility Before Applying
If you're Canadian or Mexican, Arcadis's TN sponsorship means you can start without waiting on lottery cycles. Confirm your role qualifies under a TN-recognized profession like engineer or management consultant before your offer conversation so the process doesn't stall after verbal acceptance.
Ask About LCA Timing During Offer Negotiations
Your H-1B start date depends on when Arcadis files the Labor Condition Application with DOL. Ask the recruiter whether they target October 1 cap-subject start dates or use cap-exempt pathways, so you can plan your OPT or grace period accordingly without an authorization gap.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter Open Consultant Roles
Search Migrate Mate to browse verified Arcadis consultant openings filtered by visa type. This lets you confirm which specific roles are actively hiring for your sponsorship category before you invest time tailoring applications to positions that may not support your visa pathway.
Prepare for a Multi-Round Technical Interview Process
Arcadis consultant interviews typically include a case or technical presentation stage tied to your discipline, not just behavioral rounds. Having project deliverables, a portfolio, or a professional reference from a relevant infrastructure or environmental engagement strengthens your profile in a competitive sponsorship-eligible candidate pool.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Arcadis sponsor H-1B visas for Consultants?
Yes, Arcadis sponsors H-1B visas for Consultant roles. The company participates in the annual H-1B cap lottery for new hires and also files H-1B transfers for candidates already holding the status. If you're on F-1 OPT, Arcadis can bridge your authorization while a cap-subject petition is pending, provided your OPT expiration and the October 1 start date align.
How do I apply for Consultant jobs at Arcadis?
Applications go through Arcadis's careers portal, where roles are listed by service line and geography. You can also find verified Arcadis Consultant openings filtered by visa sponsorship type on Migrate Mate, which makes it easier to identify positions that match your authorization needs before applying. Tailoring your application to a specific practice area, such as environment or infrastructure, improves your chances.
Which visa types does Arcadis commonly use for Consultant roles?
Arcadis sponsors across several categories for Consultants, including H-1B, H-1B1 visa for Chilean and Singaporean nationals, TN visa for Canadian and Mexican professionals, and F-1 OPT and CPT for recent graduates. The EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways are also available for longer-term employees, typically initiated after a period of continuous employment and subject to PERM labor certification through DOL.
What qualifications does Arcadis expect for sponsored Consultant positions?
Most Consultant roles at Arcadis require a bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline relevant to the service line, such as civil engineering, environmental science, or urban planning. For H-1B purposes, the degree must directly relate to the duties of the role. Relevant project experience, professional certifications like EIT or PE, and familiarity with infrastructure advisory work strengthen your candidacy significantly.
How do I time my application if my OPT is running out?
If your OPT expiration falls before October 1 and Arcadis files a cap-subject H-1B for you, the cap-gap provision can extend your work authorization through October 1 of that year, provided the petition is filed before your OPT expires. Coordinating your offer and start date with Arcadis's HR team well before your OPT end date gives enough runway for USCIS processing without an employment gap.
