INTRODUCTION
Tiger Analytics is an advanced analytics consulting firm. We are the trusted analytics partner for several Fortune 100 companies, enabling them to generate business value from data. Our consultants bring deep expertise in Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI. Various market research firms, including Forrester and Gartner, have recognised our business value and leadership. We solve complex analytical problems at scale and have built a reputation for delivering valuable data-driven solutions across various industries, including Pharma and Life Sciences. We are looking for a business-first, analytically strong consultant who can work closely with business leaders to understand complex decisions, bring fresh perspectives, and translate business needs into data- and AI-enabled solutions. This is more than a traditional requirements-gathering role. The consultant will be expected to understand how the business operates, identify the decisions that matter, determine what information and analysis are needed, and work with AI/Agentic tools, data, and specialist teams to solve the problem. The ideal candidate has operated in an environment where they have regularly used data and analysis to support business decisions and is excited about applying emerging AI technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the business and the decision: Engage with business stakeholders to understand objectives, economics, processes, constraints, and the decisions they are looking to make
- Challenge and structure problems: Ask thoughtful questions, constructively challenge assumptions, and translate ambiguous business issues into clear hypotheses, analyses, and decision frameworks
- Use data to develop insights: Explore and interpret data, conduct rapid analyses, identify patterns, and translate findings into relevant business implications and recommendations
- Rapidly prototype solutions: Leverage GenAI, Agentic AI, analytics, and low-code/no-code tools to rapidly explore ideas, analyze information, and develop working prototypes
- Orchestrate expertise: Recognize when deeper expertise is required and effectively collaborate with data scientists, engineers, domain experts, product teams, and AI agents to develop solutions
- Drive from insight to action: Communicate findings in simple business language, provide actionable recommendations, and work with stakeholders to translate recommendations into measurable business outcomes
- Continuously learn: Experiment with emerging AI and technology capabilities and identify opportunities where they can meaningfully improve business decision-making
REQUIREMENTS
- 5-10 years of experience in business analytics, strategy/management consulting, commercial analytics, operations, supply chain, finance, marketing/customer analytics, product management, or a similar decision-oriented business environment
- Demonstrated business curiosity and strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business challenges, ask the right questions, and develop practical, data-driven solutions
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders and senior leaders, with the ability to understand their priorities and effectively communicate insights and recommendations
- Strong analytical orientation and comfort working hands-on with data, including the ability to explore data, identify patterns, and derive meaningful insights
- Ability to translate business questions into clear hypotheses, conduct relevant analysis, derive actionable insights, and translate those insights into informed business decisions and outcomes
- Ability to constructively challenge assumptions and perspectives while collaborating with business stakeholders to identify effective solutions
- Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and solving loosely defined problems, with the ability to structure problems and develop an effective approach
- Strong written, verbal, and executive communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and insights clearly and effectively
- Working familiarity with analytical tools such as Excel, SQL, BI/visualization tools, and/or Python
- Strong interest in and hands-on aptitude with GenAI, AI agents, and emerging productivity/development tools, with a willingness to explore and apply these capabilities to business problems
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly, without requiring deep software engineering expertise
- Ability to bring together business, analytics, technology, and specialist teams to collaboratively develop and deliver solutions effectively and rapidly
BENEFITS
Significant career development opportunities exist as the company grows. The position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a small, fast-growing, challenging, and entrepreneurial environment, with a high degree of individual responsibility.

Align your resume to analytics consulting frameworks
Tiger Analytics recruits Consultants who can bridge technical delivery and client engagement. Structure your resume around project-based outcomes, tools like Python or SQL, and stakeholder communication, not just individual contributor work. Hiring managers scan for consulting-ready candidates, not pure data scientists.
Clarify CPT eligibility before accepting internships
Tiger Analytics does hire on F-1 CPT for consulting roles, but your university must authorize CPT for the specific position. Confirm the job description aligns with your program of study before signing an offer, or authorization can be denied.
Target roles that match your visa transition window
If your OPT expires within six months, prioritize Consultant openings explicitly listed as H-1B sponsorship eligible. Tiger Analytics files H-1B petitions on an employer-sponsored basis, so your start date and the April 1 filing window need to align before you accept.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Consultant openings by visa type
Searching broadly across job boards wastes time when you need a sponsoring employer. Migrate Mate lets you filter Tiger Analytics Consultant roles by the visa types they support, so you spend your time applying to positions that actually fit your immigration situation.
Prepare for DOL prevailing wage scrutiny on consulting titles
Consultant is a title the DOL reviews carefully under Labor Condition Application filings. Be ready to articulate how your role meets specialty occupation standards, since vague job descriptions can complicate H-1B petition approval. Ask your recruiter how the LCA is structured for your specific function.
Ask about EB-2 and EB-3 timelines during the offer stage
Tiger Analytics sponsors Green Cards for Consultant roles, but the PERM labor certification process can take a year or more before your I-140 petition is filed. Raise the Green Card sponsorship timeline in your offer negotiation, not after your first performance review.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Tiger Analytics sponsor H-1B visas for Consultants?
Yes, Tiger Analytics sponsors H-1B visas for Consultant roles. Because H-1B status for cap-subject candidates takes effect October 1, your offer timing needs to align with the April USCIS registration window. Cap-exempt situations, such as candidates already holding H-1B status with another employer, can transfer at any time without waiting for the lottery.
How do I apply for Consultant jobs at Tiger Analytics?
Applications go through Tiger Analytics's careers page, where Consultant openings are posted by practice area and location. To find roles filtered specifically by visa sponsorship type, Migrate Mate aggregates Tiger Analytics listings and lets you search by the visa categories the company supports, which is faster than reviewing each job description manually.
Which visa types does Tiger Analytics commonly use for Consultant roles?
Tiger Analytics sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN visa, and Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for Consultant positions. F-1 OPT and CPT are common entry points for recent graduates, while H-1B sponsorship is the standard long-term path. TN visa is available for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying analytics and consulting roles.
What qualifications does Tiger Analytics expect for sponsored Consultant roles?
Consultant roles at Tiger Analytics typically require a bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline. Proficiency in analytics tools and demonstrated project experience are expected. For H-1B eligibility, the role must qualify as a specialty occupation, so a directly relevant degree field matters, not just general technical experience.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Consultant offer at Tiger Analytics?
For H-1B cap-subject candidates, the full timeline from offer to work authorization runs roughly six to twelve months depending on when you receive the offer relative to the April registration window. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship adds a separate multi-year process. OPT and TN authorizations move faster, with OPT STEM extensions giving up to 36 months of work authorization under a single employer.
