Match your credentials to FAA requirements
Airline roles at Frontier often require FAA certificates, ratings, or dispatch licenses that U.S. employers treat as non-negotiable. Confirm your foreign credentials are recognized or can be converted before you apply, since a pending conversion can stall a petition.
Target Frontier's operational hubs strategically
Frontier concentrates hiring around Denver and focus cities like Las Vegas and Orlando. Roles posted for these locations move faster through internal approval because the staffing need is active, not speculative. Filter your search by those bases first.
Distinguish which visa fits your Airline role
Frontier sponsors multiple categories including H-1B, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT. Airline dispatch and operations management roles typically qualify as specialty occupations under H-1B, while Australian nationals should ask specifically about the E-3 pathway, which bypasses the lottery entirely.
Time your application around the H-1B cap cycle
If your role requires cap-subject H-1B sponsorship, Frontier must register you in March for an October start. Missing that window means waiting a full year. Start conversations with the recruiting team at least six months before the registration period opens.
Clarify sponsorship scope during the offer stage
Before signing anything, confirm whether Frontier will cover USCIS filing fees, attorney costs, and premium processing. Ultra-low-cost carriers manage budgets tightly, so what sponsorship includes varies. Get the specifics in writing before you give notice to a current employer.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Airline roles at Frontier
Finding visa-sponsoring employers in aviation requires filtering by sponsorship history, not just job title. Use Migrate Mate to search verified Airline openings at Frontier Airlines and filter by the visa category that matches your status.

Find Airline at Frontier Airlines JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Frontier Airlines sponsor H-1B visas for Airlines?
Yes, Frontier Airlines has sponsored H-1B visas for Airline roles. Positions that qualify as specialty occupations, such as flight dispatch, aviation safety, and certain operations management roles, are the most likely candidates for H-1B sponsorship. Cap-subject filings are tied to the annual lottery, so timing your application to align with the March registration window is critical.
How do I apply for Airline jobs at Frontier Airlines?
Applications go through Frontier's careers portal, where you can filter by department and location. Roles in operations, dispatch, and cabin crew support are listed separately, so search broadly under Airline functions. Migrate Mate also aggregates Frontier's open Airline positions with sponsorship filters, which helps you identify roles where visa support is confirmed before you apply.
Which visa types does Frontier Airlines commonly use for Airline roles?
Frontier has sponsored across several categories including H-1B, E-3, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, and employment-based Green Cards (EB-2 and EB-3). Australian nationals are well-positioned to pursue the E-3, which has no lottery and a dedicated annual allocation. Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying Airline occupations may be eligible for TN status at the border or port of entry.
What qualifications does Frontier Airlines expect for Airline roles?
Requirements vary by role, but most Airline positions at Frontier expect relevant aviation credentials, FAA certification where applicable, and experience in an airline operations environment. Dispatch roles typically require an FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate. For H-1B eligibility, the position must require at minimum a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a directly related field, which operations and technical aviation roles generally satisfy.
How do I navigate the visa filing timeline for an Airline role at Frontier?
Timeline depends heavily on visa category. F-1 OPT allows you to start work quickly if your authorization is already in place. H-1B cap filings require a March lottery registration for an October start, with USCIS adjudication running roughly three to six months without premium processing. E-3 and TN approvals move faster and are not subject to annual caps, making them practical options if you qualify.
