Frame your PM credentials around airline operations
Frontier prioritizes project managers who understand fleet planning, MRO coordination, or airline systems rollouts. Tailor your resume to show experience in operationally complex environments, not just generic project delivery frameworks like PMP or Agile.
Target open roles that align with active initiatives
Frontier regularly hires PMs during periods of fleet expansion or technology modernization. Focus applications on roles tied to infrastructure, network planning, or IT systems, where sponsorship requests are easier to justify to hiring managers.
Clarify your visa type early in recruiter conversations
Frontier sponsors multiple visa categories for project management roles. Telling recruiters your specific status upfront, whether F-1 OPT, E-3, or TN, prevents late-stage confusion and signals you understand the filing process your employer will need to initiate.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified sponsorship-open PM listings
Searching broadly for PM roles wastes time on employers who won't sponsor. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Frontier Airlines project management openings that have a confirmed sponsorship history, so every application you send is worth the effort.
Understand the LCA filing requirement before your offer
For H-1B and E-3 sponsorship, your employer must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before USCIS receives the petition. Ask your Frontier recruiter which internal team handles immigration filings and how long their LCA preparation typically takes.
Account for OPT cap-gap timing if you hold F-1 status
If you're on F-1 OPT and Frontier extends an H-1B offer, confirm your OPT expiration date against the October 1 H-1B start date. A timely cap-gap authorization from USCIS keeps you work-authorized during the gap without interrupting your project delivery role.

Find Project Manager at Frontier Airlines JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Frontier Airlines sponsor H-1B visas for Project Managers?
Yes, Frontier Airlines has sponsored H-1B visas for project management roles. The process requires your employer to file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL and then submit an H-1B petition to USCIS on your behalf. Because the H-1B is subject to an annual lottery, timing your application cycle correctly matters, and having an offer in place before the March registration window is essential.
How do I apply for Project Manager jobs at Frontier Airlines?
Applications go through Frontier's careers portal, where PM roles are listed under operations, technology, or corporate functions depending on the team. You can also browse Frontier's verified sponsorship-open project manager listings on Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa type so you can focus only on positions where sponsorship has been documented. Tailor your application to highlight aviation-adjacent project experience wherever possible.
Which visa types does Frontier Airlines commonly use for Project Manager roles?
Frontier has sponsored project managers across several visa categories, including H-1B, E-3 for Australian nationals, TN for Canadian and Mexican citizens, and Green Card pathways through EB-2 and EB-3. F-1 OPT and CPT holders are also supported during earlier career stages. The right category depends on your nationality, degree, and employment timeline, so identifying the correct pathway before you apply avoids complications at the offer stage.
What qualifications does Frontier Airlines expect for sponsored Project Manager roles?
Frontier typically looks for a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, engineering, information systems, or aviation management. Hands-on experience managing cross-functional projects in logistics, airline operations, or enterprise IT strengthens your candidacy significantly. A PMP certification is valued but not always required. Roles tied to fleet programs or technology implementations tend to have stricter technical background expectations than general corporate PM positions.
How do I figure out the realistic timeline for visa sponsorship at Frontier Airlines?
Timeline depends heavily on your visa type. E-3 and TN processing at a U.S. consulate can move in weeks once your employer completes the LCA with the DOL. H-1B sponsorship is bound by the October 1 fiscal year start date and requires registration in March. Green Card sponsorship through PERM involves DOL labor market testing that typically runs six to twelve months before USCIS receives a petition. Align your job search timeline to whichever category applies to you.
