Tailor Your Contract Portfolio for Tech
Highlight experience with software licensing agreements, SaaS vendor contracts, and IT service-level agreements. GlobalPoint's technology focus means generalist contract experience carries less weight than demonstrated familiarity with intellectual property clauses and data privacy terms.
Verify Your OPT STEM Extension Eligibility Early
Contract Administrator roles under a technology company can qualify for the 24-month STEM OPT extension if your degree field aligns. Confirm your DSO has the correct CIP code on file before your initial OPT expires, not after.
Target GlobalPoint's Open Requisitions Strategically
Browse Contract Administrator openings at GlobalPoint through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by confirmed visa sponsorship type so you can prioritize positions already approved for your specific status before applying.
Clarify the PERM Timeline During Offer Negotiations
EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card paths require a PERM labor certification through DOL before USCIS adjudicates the immigrant petition. Ask the recruiting team during the offer stage which Green Card pathway they typically use for Contract Administrator roles and what their average PERM initiation timeline looks like.
Align Your TN Qualification Documentation Now
Canadian and Mexican nationals can pursue the TN visa for this role under the Management Consultant category if your duties are properly scoped. Prepare a detailed offer letter outlining project-based contract management responsibilities before your border or consular appointment.
Confirm E-Verify Enrollment Before Accepting an Offer
Federal contractor relationships mean some GlobalPoint entities operate under mandatory E-Verify requirements. Ask HR to confirm which legal entity is listed on the offer letter and whether that entity is E-Verify enrolled, since this affects your Form I-9 process and start-date flexibility.

Does GlobalPoint sponsor H-1B visas for Contract Administrators?
GlobalPoint's primary sponsorship pathways for Contract Administrator roles are EB-2, EB-3, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN. H-1B sponsorship is not listed among their confirmed visa types for this function, so if you are H-1B dependent, clarify directly with the recruiting team whether they will initiate a new H-1B petition or support a transfer if you already hold H-1B status.
How do I apply for Contract Administrator jobs at GlobalPoint?
Search for Contract Administrator openings at GlobalPoint through Migrate Mate, which aggregates roles filtered by visa sponsorship type. When you apply, tailor your resume to highlight technology contract experience such as software vendor management, licensing negotiations, and compliance oversight. Follow up with the recruiter to confirm the sponsorship pathway available for the specific role before advancing to interviews.
Which visa types does GlobalPoint commonly use for Contract Administrator roles?
GlobalPoint sponsors Contract Administrator roles through EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa categories for longer-term Green Card pathways, F-1 OPT and F-1 CPT for students and recent graduates, and TN for eligible Canadian and Mexican nationals. Each pathway has different eligibility requirements and timelines, so identifying which aligns with your current immigration status is the right starting point.
What qualifications does GlobalPoint expect for a Contract Administrator role?
Expect GlobalPoint to prioritize candidates with a bachelor's degree in business, law, supply chain, or a related field combined with hands-on experience drafting and managing technology contracts. Familiarity with software licensing structures, vendor risk management, and procurement compliance is particularly relevant given their technology industry focus. Professional certifications such as CPCM or CFCM can strengthen your candidacy.
How do I think about the timeline from offer to work authorization for this role?
If you are on F-1 OPT, you can typically start within your authorized work period as long as the role qualifies. For TN, approval at the border or consulate can happen in a single day. EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship involves a multi-stage DOL PERM process followed by USCIS adjudication, which can span one to several years depending on your country of birth and priority date. Clarify the sponsorship path with GlobalPoint's HR team before signing.
