Frame Your Credentials Around Healthcare Contract Law
Dignity Health's contracting roles sit at the intersection of procurement, compliance, and clinical operations. Before applying, align your resume to healthcare-specific contract work: vendor agreements, CMS compliance language, or managed care contracting terms carry real weight here.
Target Roles Tied to Specific Service Lines
Dignity Health hires Contract Administrators across facilities management, medical equipment, and IT services. Applying to roles aligned with your subject matter expertise, rather than broad postings, gives hiring managers a clearer path to justifying H-1B sponsorship for your specific position.
Understand the Specialty Occupation Standard for This Role
USCIS scrutinizes contract administration roles closely. Make sure your job offer specifies a degree requirement in a field like business, legal studies, or supply chain management. A vague job description can create problems at the H-1B petition stage.
Ask About LCA Filing Before Accepting an Offer
Your employer must file a certified Labor Condition Application with DOL before USCIS processes your H-1B petition. Confirm Dignity Health's HR team has initiated this step and that the prevailing wage determination reflects your actual work location, not a regional average.
Account for PERM Timelines If Targeting a Green Card
If long-term permanent residency is your goal, Dignity Health's history of EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship means PERM labor certification is on the table. PERM processing currently runs 12 to 18 months or longer, so start that conversation during offer negotiations, not after you've started.
Use Migrate Mate to Surface Active Openings
Contract Administrator postings at Dignity Health turn over frequently across its regional markets. Use Migrate Mate to filter for current openings at Dignity Health that align with your visa type and contracting background, so you're applying when sponsorship is actively on the table.

Find Contract Administrator at Dignity Health JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Dignity Health sponsor H-1B visas for Contract Administrators?
Yes, Dignity Health has a consistent history of sponsoring H-1B visas for Contract Administrator roles. The company's scale across hospital systems and outpatient facilities means contracting positions open regularly, and its HR infrastructure is set up to handle the employer-side requirements, including Labor Condition Application filings with DOL and petitions through USCIS.
Which visa types does Dignity Health typically sponsor for Contract Administrator positions?
Dignity Health sponsors both H-1B nonimmigrant visas and employment-based immigrant visas, specifically EB-2 and EB-3, for Contract Administrator roles. H-1B is the most common path for initial employment. EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process is available for employees pursuing permanent residency, though timelines vary significantly by nationality and priority date.
What qualifications does Dignity Health look for in Contract Administrator candidates?
Dignity Health typically expects a bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, legal studies, or a related field. Hands-on experience with contract lifecycle management, vendor negotiations, and compliance frameworks in a healthcare or regulated industry setting is a strong differentiator. Familiarity with CMS regulations or hospital procurement processes can also improve your candidacy for H-1B sponsorship because it strengthens the specialty occupation case.
How do I apply for Contract Administrator jobs at Dignity Health?
You can search for open Contract Administrator positions directly through Dignity Health's careers portal or use Migrate Mate to filter current openings by role and visa sponsorship eligibility. When applying, tailor your application to the specific service line or facility type listed in the posting. Highlighting relevant contract management experience in healthcare settings will improve your chances of moving forward to a sponsorship conversation.
How do I plan my timeline if Dignity Health is sponsoring my H-1B?
H-1B cap-subject petitions are filed in April for an October 1 start date, so your offer and Labor Condition Application need to be in place before the March registration window. If you're already in H-1B status with another employer, Dignity Health can file a transfer petition and you can begin working once USCIS receives it, without waiting for approval. Plan for at least two to three months between offer acceptance and petition submission to allow time for LCA certification through DOL.
