Job Roles at Shaw Industries Group
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Shaw Industries Group Green Card Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target technical and operations roles
Shaw Industries Group's Green Card sponsorships tend to concentrate in technical, engineering, and supply chain functions tied to its apparel manufacturing operations. Focusing your application on these departments improves your odds of landing a sponsorship-eligible position.
Understand the EB-2 and EB-3 distinction
Shaw sponsors both EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards. EB-2 typically requires an advanced degree or exceptional ability, while EB-3 covers skilled workers. Knowing which category fits your background helps you frame your qualifications correctly from the first conversation.
Raise sponsorship early in the process
Don't wait until an offer is on the table to discuss Green Card sponsorship. Asking during early interviews signals you've done your research and allows both sides to align on timeline expectations before the process moves forward.
Demonstrate long-term value to the business
Green Card sponsorship is a significant employer investment. Shaw is more likely to sponsor candidates who clearly articulate their long-term contribution to the company's apparel and manufacturing operations, not just their immediate role requirements.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified sponsorship roles
Not every job posting at Shaw will lead to Green Card sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus only on roles where sponsorship has actually occurred at this company.
Prepare for the PERM labor certification stage
Most employer-sponsored Green Cards begin with PERM labor certification, where Shaw must document that no qualified U.S. worker was available for your role. Understanding this step helps you support your employer's documentation process and set realistic timeline expectations.

Does Shaw Industries Group sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Shaw Industries Group does sponsor Green Card visas. The company files under the EB-2 and EB-3 preference categories, primarily for specialized roles within its fashion and apparel operations. Sponsorship is selective rather than widespread, so candidates in technical, engineering, or supply chain roles are best positioned to be considered.
Which roles and departments at Shaw Industries Group are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Shaw Industries Group tends to align with roles requiring specialized skills that are harder to fill domestically. Technical, engineering, product development, and supply chain positions within its apparel manufacturing operations are the most likely candidates. Corporate functions may also qualify under EB-2 if an advanced degree or exceptional ability is involved.
How do I navigate the Green Card application process at Shaw Industries Group?
The process typically begins with Shaw filing a PERM labor certification with the Department of Labor, which documents that no qualified U.S. worker was available for your position. Once certified, Shaw files an immigrant petition on your behalf. You'll need to work closely with their HR and legal teams throughout, as the employer drives the process rather than the employee.
How long does the Green Card process take at Shaw Industries Group?
Timeline depends heavily on your visa category and country of birth. EB-3 cases for nationals from countries with high demand, such as India, can face multi-year backlogs due to annual visa caps. EB-2 moves faster in some circumstances. Realistically, plan for a process spanning one year at minimum, and potentially much longer depending on your priority date.
How do I find Green Card jobs at Shaw Industries Group that are open to sponsorship?
Shaw doesn't always flag Green Card eligibility in job postings, which makes it harder to identify sponsorship-ready roles from standard job boards. Migrate Mate tracks verified Green Card sponsors and surfaces roles at companies like Shaw where sponsorship has actually been filed, saving you from applying to positions that will never lead to a Green Card.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Shaw Industries Group?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
