Target roles aligned with Green Card pathways
Red Wing Shoe Company's sponsorship activity is concentrated around permanent residency. Focus your applications on roles where long-term retention matters, product development, supply chain, and technical operations tend to align with EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship decisions.
Understand which visa types Red Wing sponsors
Red Wing sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards, not H-1B visas. If you need a nonimmigrant work visa to enter the U.S. first, clarify that pathway before applying, Green Card sponsorship typically follows an established employment relationship.
Position yourself for specialized or skilled roles
EB-2 sponsorship requires demonstrating advanced expertise, while EB-3 covers skilled workers. Highlight domain-specific skills in footwear design, materials sourcing, manufacturing, or retail operations to align with the credential levels Red Wing's sponsorship history reflects.
Research open roles that match Fashion & Apparel expertise
Red Wing values deep industry knowledge. Browse visa-sponsoring positions in footwear, apparel, or consumer goods on Migrate Mate, which surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and find roles where your background is genuinely competitive.
Prepare for a longer sponsorship timeline
Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3 involves PERM labor certification, I-140 filing, and visa queue wait times. Budget 12 to 24 months or more for the full process, start conversations with Red Wing's HR team about timelines early in the hiring process.
Demonstrate retention value from the first interview
Employers sponsoring Green Cards are making a multi-year commitment. In interviews, emphasize your long-term career goals within the Fashion & Apparel industry and your interest in growing with Red Wing specifically, sponsorship decisions favor candidates who signal stability and loyalty.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Red Wing Shoe Company sponsor H-1B visas?
Based on available sponsorship data, Red Wing Shoe Company does not have a track record of sponsoring H-1B visas. Their sponsorship activity is focused on permanent residency through the EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card categories. If you require an H-1B to work in the U.S., you would likely need to secure that visa through a different employer before transitioning to Red Wing.
What visa types does Red Wing Shoe Company sponsor?
Red Wing Shoe Company sponsors employment-based Green Cards under the EB-2 and EB-3 preference categories. EB-2 is for professionals with advanced degrees or exceptional ability, while EB-3 covers skilled workers in roles requiring at least two years of training or experience. Both pathways require the employer to go through PERM labor certification before filing an I-140 petition.
Which departments or roles at Red Wing Shoe Company are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Red Wing's sponsorship history in Fashion & Apparel suggests sponsorship is most likely tied to specialized or hard-to-fill roles where domain expertise is critical. Positions in product development, materials engineering, supply chain management, and technical manufacturing operations tend to be strong candidates for EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship, as these require demonstrable skilled or advanced qualifications.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Red Wing Shoe Company?
Migrate Mate is the most efficient way to find visa-sponsored roles at Red Wing Shoe Company. The platform verifies sponsorship history using government filing data, so you can filter specifically for employers with EB-2 or EB-3 track records in Fashion & Apparel. This saves time compared to searching broadly and manually vetting each employer's immigration history.
How do I approach the application process if I need Green Card sponsorship at Red Wing Shoe Company?
Be transparent about your sponsorship needs early in the process, ideally after an initial offer of interest but before a formal offer. Ask HR whether the role is eligible for EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship and whether the company works with immigration counsel. Having the conversation early helps both sides align on timeline expectations, since the PERM and I-140 process can take well over a year to complete.
