Job Roles at Susquehanna International Group
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Susquehanna International Group H-1B Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target quantitative and technology roles
SIG's H-1B sponsorship concentrates in quantitative research, software engineering, and trading technology. Focusing your applications on these departments puts you in the strongest position for sponsorship consideration within their investment and asset management operations.
Highlight quantitative and analytical skills early
SIG values deep analytical ability. Lead your resume and cover letter with quantitative skills, programming languages, and relevant project work. Candidates who clearly demonstrate technical depth move faster through the screening process at firms like SIG.
Engage through campus recruiting channels
SIG actively recruits from top universities for quantitative finance and engineering roles. If you're on OPT or approaching graduation, connecting through campus events or university career portals is one of the most effective ways to enter their H-1B pipeline.
Confirm sponsorship before applying
Not every role at an investment firm includes H-1B sponsorship. Before applying, verify the specific position lists sponsorship as available. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and avoid wasted applications.
Demonstrate long-term commitment to the firm
Sponsoring an H-1B is a significant investment for any firm in asset management. Candidates who articulate genuine interest in SIG's trading culture and long-term career growth at the firm are more likely to receive sponsorship consideration over short-term hires.

Does Susquehanna International Group sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Susquehanna International Group sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying roles across its U.S. operations. SIG has a consistent history of sponsoring international talent, particularly in quantitative research, software engineering, and trading technology. Sponsorship is tied to specific roles, so confirming sponsorship availability for a given position before applying is worthwhile.
Which roles at Susquehanna International Group typically receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at SIG is most common in technically specialized positions such as quantitative researcher, software engineer, trading systems developer, and data scientist. These roles align closely with the specialty occupation standard the H-1B requires. Business and operational support roles may have more limited sponsorship availability depending on the position and team.
How do I apply for a role with H-1B sponsorship at Susquehanna International Group?
Start by identifying open roles on SIG's careers page that explicitly mention visa sponsorship. Apply with a resume that highlights quantitative and technical skills prominently. You can also use Migrate Mate to find SIG's sponsored roles in one place, filtered by verified H-1B sponsorship history, which helps narrow your search to positions where sponsorship is genuinely available.
What is the H-1B timeline I should expect if Susquehanna International Group sponsors me?
Once SIG extends an offer and commits to sponsorship, their legal team files a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor, followed by the H-1B petition with USCIS. For cap-subject H-1B cases, the annual lottery registration window opens in March for an October 1 start date. Premium processing is available to shorten the USCIS adjudication window if timing is critical.
How do I stand out as an H-1B candidate at a firm like Susquehanna International Group?
SIG's hiring process is rigorous, especially for quantitative and engineering roles. Prepare thoroughly for technical interviews that assess mathematical reasoning, programming, and problem-solving under pressure. Demonstrating that you understand SIG's approach to market-making and quantitative trading, rather than treating it as any investment firm, meaningfully differentiates candidates who require sponsorship from those who do not.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at Susquehanna International Group?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
