Target roles in financial advisory and valuation
Kroll's core business in investment and asset management means sponsored roles are most common in financial analysis, valuation, and advisory functions. Focus your application on these areas to align with where the firm's international hiring is concentrated.
Come prepared on both H-1B and Green Card pathways
Kroll sponsors both H-1B visas and permanent residency through EB-2 and EB-3 categories. Understanding how these pathways connect, and asking about long-term sponsorship during interviews, signals seriousness and helps you assess fit early.
Highlight technical and analytical credentials clearly
Kroll operates in a specialty occupation environment where degree-to-role alignment matters for H-1B eligibility. Make your educational background and professional certifications easy for recruiters and immigration counsel to assess from the outset.
Explore OPT and CPT as an entry point
Kroll sponsors F-1 OPT and CPT, meaning the firm is open to hiring international students before H-1B eligibility. Starting in a placement that leads to OPT sponsorship can build the internal track record that supports future H-1B filing.
Use Migrate Mate to verify Kroll's sponsorship history before applying
Confirming a firm's real sponsorship activity before investing time in an application is worth the step. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by actual sponsorship history and confirm Kroll is actively sponsoring your visa type.
Time your application with their annual recruitment cycle
Firms in investment and asset management often hire in structured cohorts aligned with the H-1B cap season. Applying between January and March gives your employer the best chance of filing during the regular cap registration window.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Kroll sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Kroll sponsors H-1B visas and has a consistent track record of doing so across its financial advisory and asset management practices. The firm supports international professionals in specialty occupation roles, particularly those requiring advanced degrees in finance, accounting, economics, or related fields. Candidates should confirm role-specific eligibility with Kroll's recruiting team early in the process.
Which visa types does Kroll sponsor?
Kroll sponsors a range of visa types including H-1B, TN visa, J-1 visa, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and supports Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 and EB-3 categories. This breadth makes Kroll a viable option for international professionals at multiple stages of their U.S. immigration journey, from student status through permanent residency.
What types of roles at Kroll are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Kroll is most common in technical and analytical roles tied to its core service lines, valuation, restructuring, financial investigations, and risk advisory. These roles typically require specialized degrees and meet the H-1B specialty occupation standard. Candidates in generalist or administrative functions are less likely to receive sponsorship, so targeting a technical track improves your odds significantly.
How do I find open roles at Kroll that offer visa sponsorship?
The most reliable approach is to search for Kroll directly on Migrate Mate, which filters job listings by verified sponsorship history. This saves time compared to applying broadly and then discovering late in the process that a specific role or team doesn't support international candidates. Migrate Mate lets you filter by visa type so you can confirm H-1B or Green Card eligibility before reaching out.
How do I approach the application timeline if I need H-1B sponsorship at Kroll?
The H-1B cap filing window runs from April 1 each year, with USCIS typically opening registration in March. To meet that timeline, you'll want an offer in place by February at the latest. If you're on OPT or CPT, Kroll can employ you before H-1B approval, which reduces urgency. Build in time for Kroll's internal immigration counsel to prepare the Labor Condition Application and petition documents.
