More About Hopper
At Hopper, we are on a mission to become the leading travel platform globally – powering Hopper’s mobile app, website and our B2B business, HTS (Hopper Technology Solutions). By leveraging massive amounts of data and advanced machine learning algorithms, Hopper combines its world-class travel agency offering with proprietary fintech products to bring transparency, flexibility and savings to travelers globally. We have developed several unique fintech solutions that address everything from pricing volatility to trip disruptions – helping people travel better and save more on their trips. The Hopper platform serves hundreds of millions of travelers globally and continues to capture market share around the world. The Hopper app has been downloaded over 120 million times and has become largely popular among younger travelers – with 70% of its users being Gen Z and millennials. While everyone knows us as the Gen Z and Millennial travel app, Hopper has evolved to become much more than that. In recent years, we’ve grown into a travel fintech provider, commerce platform, and global travel agency that powers some of the world’s largest brands. Through HTS, our B2B division, the company supercharges its partners’ direct channels by integrating our fintech products on their sites or powering end-to-end travel portals. Today, our partners include leading travel brands like Capital One, Nubank, Air Canada, and many more.
Here are just a few stats that demonstrate the company’s recent growth:
- Billions of dollars worth of travel and travel fintech are sold through Hopper and HTS’ channels every year.
- Our fintech products – including Cancel for Any Reason and Flight Disruption Assistance – have exceptionally strong CSAT because the terms are always clear, and customers receive instant, no-questions-asked resolutions.
- Almost 30% of our app customers purchase at least one fintech product when making a booking; and consumers are 1.6x more likely to repurchase if they add fintech to their booking vs if they booked just travel.
Given the success of its fintech products, Hopper launched a B2B initiative, HTS (Hopper Technology Solutions), which represents more than 75% of the business. Through HTS, any travel provider (airlines, hotels, banks, travel agencies, etc.) can integrate and seamlessly distribute Hopper’s fintech or travel inventory on their direct channels. As its first HTS partnership, the company partnered with Capital One to co-develop Capital One Travel, a new travel portal designed specifically for cardholders. Other HTS partners include Air Canada, Uber, CommBank, Nubank, Flair Airlines and many more.
Hopper has been named the #1 most innovative company in travel by Fast Company. Hopper has been downloaded over 120 million times and continues to have millions of new installs each month. Hopper is now the #3 largest online travel agency in North America and 70% of our app customers are Gen-Z and millennials travelers. Hopper has raised over $750 million USD of private capital and is backed by some of the largest institutional investors and banks in the world. Obtain a Food Handler Certification Early
Many U.S. states require food handler or food safety certification before you can work in a snack bar role. Getting ServSafe or an equivalent credential before applying signals job-readiness and removes a common onboarding obstacle Hopper's hospitality teams flag during hiring.
Target Hopper Locations With Consistent Openings
Hopper's Snack Bar Attendant vacancies are not evenly distributed. Focus your applications on locations where roles reopen repeatedly, which signals ongoing staffing need and a local management team already familiar with sponsoring foreign workers for this position.
Understand Which Visa Category Fits Your Background
Snack Bar Attendant roles typically fall under EB-3 for permanent sponsorship or H-1B for specialty cases. If your degree or prior supervisory hospitality experience supports an EB-2 argument, raise that with the recruiter early rather than waiting for Hopper's legal team to assign a category.
Ask About PERM Timeline Before Accepting an Offer
EB-3 sponsorship for hospitality roles requires a PERM labor certification from DOL, which can take a year or more. Clarify whether Hopper has already begun recruitment testing for the role you are being offered or whether the clock starts from your hire date.
Prepare Your Employment History Documentation Thoroughly
For EB-3 filings, DOL and USCIS will scrutinize your prior hospitality experience. Gather employment verification letters, pay stubs, and supervisor contact details for every relevant role before your first interview so delays in documentation do not slow the petition after an offer is made.
Browse Open Roles Using Migrate Mate
Filtering for Snack Bar Attendant positions at employers with a confirmed sponsorship history saves significant time. Use Migrate Mate to surface Hopper's current openings filtered by visa type so you are only pursuing roles where sponsorship has already been demonstrated for this function.

Find Snack Bar Attendant at Hopper JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Hopper sponsor H-1B visas for Snack Bar Attendants?
Hopper does sponsor H-1B visas and has done so for roles in this function. H-1B sponsorship for a Snack Bar Attendant position is less common than EB-3 because the role does not always meet the specialty occupation threshold USCIS applies, but Hopper has navigated this pathway before. Confirm the specific visa strategy with the recruiter during the offer stage.
How do I apply for Snack Bar Attendant jobs at Hopper?
Applications go through Hopper's careers portal. Filter for Snack Bar Attendant or food service roles and apply directly. In your application, clearly state that you require visa sponsorship so Hopper's hiring team can route your file to the appropriate contacts from the start. You can also browse current openings filtered by sponsorship history on Migrate Mate before applying.
Which visa types are commonly used for Snack Bar Attendant roles at Hopper?
The EB-3 Green Card pathway is the most common route for Snack Bar Attendant sponsorship in the Hospitality and Tourism sector because the role qualifies as skilled or unskilled labor under DOL's PERM process. H-1B sponsorship is also available at Hopper for candidates whose education or responsibilities meet USCIS specialty occupation criteria. Both pathways have appeared in Hopper's filing history for this function.
What qualifications or experience does Hopper expect for Snack Bar Attendant roles?
Hopper's Snack Bar Attendant positions generally require prior food service or hospitality experience, a valid food handler certification, and the ability to work in a fast-paced guest-facing environment. For sponsored candidates, DOL requires that the job duties and minimum requirements listed in the PERM application match what is actually expected on the job, so exaggerating credentials can create compliance issues later.
How long does the sponsorship process take for a Snack Bar Attendant position at Hopper?
If Hopper pursues EB-3 sponsorship, the PERM labor certification alone typically takes six months to over a year at DOL before USCIS even receives the I-140 petition. H-1B sponsorship has a defined annual cap cycle with a lottery in March and an October 1 start date. Factor these timelines into your planning and confirm with Hopper which pathway applies to your specific offer.
