Google's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. Our products need to handle information at massive scale, and extend well beyond web search. We're looking for engineers who bring fresh ideas from all areas, including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking and data storage, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, UI design and mobile; the list goes on and is growing every day. As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward.

Align Your ServSafe or Food Handler Credentials
Google's workplace services team expects Snack Bar Attendants to hold current food handler certifications before onboarding. Confirm your state-recognized credential is valid and transferable so it doesn't delay your start date or complicate your visa filing timeline.
Target Google's Workplace Services Vendor Ecosystem
Many Snack Bar Attendant roles at Google are filled through contracted facilities management vendors, not direct Google hiring. Search for staffing partners that hold Google workplace services contracts, as they often have their own E-3 or H-1B sponsorship pipelines for operations staff.
Confirm Prevailing Wage Coverage for Your Work Site
Your employer must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL certifying that your offered wage meets the prevailing wage for Snack Bar Attendants at the specific Google campus location. Wage levels vary by metro area, so verify your site before accepting an offer.
Use Migrate Mate to Surface Sponsoring Employers
Snack Bar Attendant openings with visa sponsorship rarely surface on general job boards. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Google and technology sector hospitality roles that have an active sponsorship track record, saving you time targeting the right postings.
Request the LCA Before Signing an Offer Letter
Before you commit to a start date, ask the hiring manager or HR contact to confirm the Labor Condition Application has been submitted to the DOL. LCA certification typically takes seven business days but can slip, and a delayed LCA pushes back your entire visa timeline.
Prepare for Campus-Specific Background Check Requirements
Google requires background checks for anyone working on-site, including contracted hospitality staff. Gather your employment history documents and any prior visa records in advance so the E-Verify and onboarding process clears before your I-94 status window tightens.

Find Snack Bar Attendant at Google JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Google sponsor H-1B visas for Snack Bar Attendants?
Google does sponsor H-1B visas, and its broader operations and workplace services functions have an established sponsorship history. That said, Snack Bar Attendant roles are often filled through contracted vendors rather than direct Google employment, so the sponsoring entity on your H-1B petition may be a facilities management company operating within Google's campus ecosystem rather than Google itself.
How do I apply for Snack Bar Attendant jobs at Google?
Start by checking Google's careers site for direct workplace services postings, but also look for openings through contracted hospitality and facilities vendors that staff Google campuses. Migrate Mate is a practical way to filter for Snack Bar Attendant roles at Google that include visa sponsorship, helping you avoid listings that don't apply to your situation as an international candidate.
Which visa types are commonly used for Snack Bar Attendant roles at Google?
H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas are the visa categories associated with Google's sponsorship activity across its operations functions. The E-3 is available exclusively to Australian citizens and is often the most accessible path given there is no lottery. The H-1B1 applies to nationals of Chile and Singapore. All three require a certified Labor Condition Application filed with the DOL before your visa can be processed.
What qualifications or experience are expected for a Snack Bar Attendant role at Google?
Google's workplace services team typically expects prior food service or hospitality experience, a current food handler or ServSafe certification, and demonstrated reliability in high-volume environments. Customer-facing communication skills matter given the diverse, fast-moving nature of Google's campuses. Vendor contractors staffing these roles may also require familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management.
How do I understand the timeline from job offer to visa approval for this role?
After an offer is extended, your employer files a Labor Condition Application with the DOL, which typically takes around seven business days to certify. For H-1B, there is a lottery in March for an October 1 start date, which can add months of waiting. E-3 and H-1B1 visas bypass the lottery entirely and can move to consular processing or change of status within a few weeks of LCA certification.
