ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- We’re looking for a seasoned construction professional with a strong legacy in the power industry someone who brings at least a decade of hands-on experience building and shaping major power projects.
- This role calls for a leader who has spent 5 years guiding and inspiring craft labor teams, ensuring projects move forward with precision, safety, and excellence.
- As a key pillar of our field leadership, this individual will provide clear daily direction, mentorship, and oversight to the project’s General Foremen, driving teamwork, problem-solving, and high-performance execution across the site.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10 years of construction experience within the power industry.
- 5 years of direct craft labor leadership experience on power construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, power industry work practices, and multi-discipline coordination.
- This large-scale infrastructure initiative spans five federal buildings, each following its own unique construction timeline from accelerated one-year schedules to multi-year builds extending up to four to five years. The core mission of this project is to transition federal facilities away from steam systems and develop modern, high-efficiency boiler plants tailored to each site.
- We’re seeking a highly experienced Superintendent with 10+ years of proven field leadership, ready to take on a project of national importance. The ideal candidate must be able to obtain an HSPD-12 government security badge, ensuring clearance to work across secure federal environments.
- You’ll be supported by a seasoned leadership structure, including a Principal Project Manager overseeing the program and four Senior Project Managers who will collaborate closely with the Superintendent team.
- This role includes a mix of schedules, including night shifts and occasional weekend work (typically 7 PM to 2/3 AM), as project demands evolve. We are looking for local professionals who are open to traveling between job sites; overtime is fully compensated.
- A formal degree is not required; a high school diploma is acceptable. Mechanical engineering-related certifications are a strong plus and will be valued during the selection process.
