Job Roles at Accuray Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Accuray Visa Sponsorship USA
Target technical and engineering roles
Accuray's sponsorship activity centers on specialized technical positions in medical device development and engineering. Focus your applications on roles requiring deep domain expertise in radiation therapy systems, software, or hardware, these align most closely with the company's sponsorship history.
Understand the niche nature of the product
CyberKnife and Radixact are highly specialized platforms. Candidates with backgrounds in radiation oncology, medical physics, or precision robotics will stand out. Tailoring your application to Accuray's specific product line signals genuine fit and reduces sponsorship hesitation.
Apply early in the hiring cycle for H-1B timing
H-1B petitions must be filed in April for an October start. If you're targeting Accuray for H-1B sponsorship, aim to secure an offer by January or February to give the company adequate time to prepare the petition and meet USCIS deadlines.
Highlight regulatory and compliance knowledge
Medical device companies like Accuray operate under strict FDA oversight. Candidates who understand 510(k) submissions, quality systems, or clinical regulatory frameworks bring immediate compliance value, which can make sponsorship an easier decision for hiring managers.
Use Migrate Mate to verify sponsorship history before applying
Accuray is a specialized sponsor, so confirming active roles is essential before investing time in applications. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors and filters jobs by real sponsorship history, so you can identify current openings at Accuray with confidence.

Get Access To All JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Accuray sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Accuray sponsors H-1B visas. The company has an established track record of supporting international professionals in specialized technical and engineering roles. While Accuray is not among the highest-volume sponsors in the medical device sector, it does actively use the H-1B program to hire qualified candidates who meet the specialty occupation requirements for its positions.
Which visa types does Accuray sponsor?
Accuray sponsors H-1B visas and also supports F-1 OPT and F-1 CPT candidates, making it accessible to international students in addition to experienced professionals. If you're on OPT or CPT and interested in radiation therapy technology or medical device engineering, Accuray is worth pursuing as a pathway to longer-term H-1B sponsorship.
Which departments or roles at Accuray are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Accuray tends to align with technically specialized roles, think software engineering, hardware development, medical physics, clinical applications, and regulatory affairs. These are the positions where niche expertise is hardest to source domestically, making international candidates a practical fit and sponsorship a more straightforward decision for the company.
What is the typical application and sponsorship timeline at Accuray?
For H-1B sponsorship, Accuray would need to file your petition in April for an October 1 start date. That means securing an offer by late January or February is important to allow time for petition preparation and USCIS processing. F-1 OPT roles can begin more flexibly, but you'll want to confirm your OPT authorization dates align with the role's start date before applying.
How do I find open sponsored roles at Accuray?
The most reliable approach is to search for Accuray on Migrate Mate, which filters job listings by verified sponsorship history so you're only seeing roles where sponsorship is genuinely available. This saves time compared to sorting through general job boards where sponsorship eligibility is often unclear or outdated. Filter by visa type to match your current status.
