Job Roles at Kongsberg Maritime Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Kongsberg Maritime Visa Sponsorship USA
Target technical and engineering roles first
Kongsberg Maritime's sponsorship activity is concentrated in specialized technical disciplines. Focus your applications on engineering, systems integration, and maritime technology roles, where the company has a clear pattern of supporting international candidates through the visa process.
Understand which visa types they actively support
Kongsberg Maritime sponsors H-1B, Green Card, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and J-1 visas. If you're on OPT or CPT, you may have a practical entry point before pursuing longer-term sponsorship, so highlight your current authorization status upfront in applications.
Emphasize domain expertise in maritime or industrial systems
Generic engineering experience is less compelling than industry-specific knowledge. Candidates who demonstrate familiarity with maritime systems, navigation technology, or offshore solutions align directly with Kongsberg Maritime's core business and are more likely to clear sponsorship conversations.
Prepare for a methodical, compliance-driven hiring process
As a professional services and technology firm, Kongsberg Maritime follows structured hiring and sponsorship procedures. Expect multiple interview rounds and a deliberate timeline. Having your documents and degree evaluations ready early signals you're a low-friction candidate for international hire.
Use verified sponsorship data to target your search
Applying broadly wastes time. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and visa type, helping you confirm Kongsberg Maritime's track record before you invest time tailoring your application.
Position yourself for Green Card sponsorship from the start
Kongsberg Maritime has sponsored both H-1B and Green Card cases, suggesting long-term employment relationships matter to them. In interviews, framing your goals around sustained contribution to the company's U.S. operations can signal you're worth the longer sponsorship commitment.
