What you'll do:
- Lead an impactful team of senior TPMs and ICs responsible for cross-org, large-scope programs that connect Core, M10n, and Platforms.
- Set a clear strategy and vision for the Pinner Journeys & Belonging function, providing thought leadership and influencing the business and potential regulatory issues that might impact Pinterest.
- Be accountable for stitching together user journeys (Personalization, Search, Assistant, etc.) to land as coherent, end-to-end experiences, with top line metrics as the primary north-star metric for journey quality.
- Drive alignment of resource planning across multiple organizational units with strategic business objectives, engaging with executive leadership to prioritize resource needs.

- 2-5+ years of management experience, with a proven ability to lead an impactful team of senior managers and ICs.

- Proven strength in engaging with executive leadership to provide strategic guidance, with polished communication skills and thought leadership.
- Demonstrated experience as a power user and extender of an A/B testing / experimentation platform (e.g., internal or external tools, homegrown experiment frameworks, etc.). - AI-first execution mindset: demonstrated ability to use GenAI to accelerate planning, program operations, and stakeholder communications—starting with AI drafts and applying strong judgment to validate, refine, and drive decisions.
- Workflow design, AI fluency, data & insights orientation: experience turning repeatable program work into durable, low-toil mechanisms and improving decision-making by using GenAI (e.g., strong prompting, vibe coding lightweight scripts/tools, dashboards, data analysis and leveraging agents where appropriate).
- Safety-by-design AI fluency: experience operating within AI governance expectations (risk assessment, data handling, model/output validation, auditability/traceability) and proactively identifying where AI use is not appropriate or requires additional controls.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Technician Jobs at Pinterest Jobs
Align your credentials to Pinterest's technical stack
Pinterest's technician roles often require documented experience with enterprise hardware, AV systems, or data center operations. Gather certifications like CompTIA, Cisco, or vendor-specific credentials before applying, since these map directly to the job requirements reviewers screen for.
Target Pinterest's facilities and IT requisitions early
Pinterest posts technician openings across both corporate IT and physical infrastructure teams. Monitoring their careers page for roles tagged under Facilities, IT Support, or AV gives you the best signal of which teams are actively hiring and sponsoring.
Confirm your visa category fits the role level
Pinterest sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT depending on your nationality and the role's classification. A technician position may qualify as a specialty occupation, but the degree-to-job-duty match matters, so verify your field aligns before the recruiter screen.
Time your OPT application against Pinterest's hiring cycles
If you're on F-1 OPT, USCIS recommends applying at least 90 days before your program end date. Pinterest's technical hiring tends to ramp in Q1 and Q3, so aligning your OPT start with those windows reduces the risk of a gap in work authorization.
Prepare for PERM documentation if targeting a Green Card
Pinterest sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards for qualifying technical staff. The DOL's PERM process requires your employer to document recruitment efforts, so keep records of your original application, offer letter, and any correspondence that establishes your hire date and role definition.
Use Migrate Mate to filter verified Pinterest technician openings
Finding roles that explicitly support visa sponsorship at Pinterest takes more than a standard job search. Migrate Mate surfaces technician positions at Pinterest filtered by sponsorship type, so you're only applying to roles where your visa category is already confirmed as supported.

Find Technician at Pinterest JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Pinterest sponsor H-1B visas for Technicians?
Yes, Pinterest sponsors H-1B visas for technician roles that qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS guidelines. The key requirement is demonstrating that the position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a specific technical field. Roles involving IT systems, AV engineering, or data center operations have historically met this threshold, but the specific job duties and your educational background both factor into USCIS's determination.
How do I apply for Technician jobs at Pinterest?
Applications go through Pinterest's careers portal, where you can filter by team, location, and job type. Technician roles appear under categories like IT, AV, or Facilities depending on the function. Tailoring your resume to reflect Pinterest's infrastructure environment, including any hardware platforms or ticketing systems they reference in the job posting, improves your chances of clearing the initial recruiter screen. Migrate Mate also lists verified Pinterest technician openings filtered by visa sponsorship type.
Which visa types does Pinterest commonly use for Technician roles?
Pinterest sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, F-1 OPT, and EB-2 or EB-3 immigrant visas for technician positions. E-3 applies exclusively to Australian citizens, and TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals under the USMCA. F-1 OPT is typically the starting point for recent graduates, with H-1B sponsorship following if the role qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS criteria.
What qualifications does Pinterest expect for Technician roles?
Pinterest generally looks for hands-on experience with enterprise IT hardware, AV systems, network infrastructure, or data center operations depending on the specific team. Vendor certifications from Cisco, Apple, or similar providers carry real weight. For visa sponsorship purposes, a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience strengthens the specialty occupation argument that Pinterest's immigration counsel will need to make to USCIS.
How do I handle timing between a Pinterest offer and visa filing?
H-1B petitions can be filed up to six months before your intended start date, so an October start means filing opens in April. If you're transitioning from F-1 OPT, confirm your OPT expiration against this window to avoid a gap. For E-3 and TN visas, processing is faster since they don't require USCIS adjudication, but you'll still need a certified Labor Condition Application from DOL before your consular appointment.
