ABOUT THE ROLE
The Pinterest Business Marketing team is composed of highly skilled marketing generalists, able to flex with equal strength among marketing strategy, content strategy, project management, cross-functional team leadership, industry thought leadership, event planning, and creative oversight. Most importantly, we are able to capture hearts and minds with engaging, inspirational work that drives business impact. Expect to roll up your sleeves, grow quickly, pivot often, and learn a ton.
This is a rare opportunity to play a central role in how Pinterest shows up to advertisers and agencies in its largest and most important market—the U.S.—doing work that is deeply tied to revenue and business outcomes, not just brand awareness. As part of a high-impact team closely partnered with sales, product marketing, and creative leadership, this role offers exceptional visibility, cross-functional influence, and a clear path to grow your career at the intersection of marketing and business strategy.
In this role, as an Integrated Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for building strategies and go-to-market plans for some of Pinterest's largest revenue-driving initiatives in the UCAN region, with a primary focus on the U.S. market. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including experiential, design, content, and sales—to create and execute effective marketing activations that align with business objectives. This role is primarily focused on industry and event marketing, with a strong emphasis on project management, content development, and creative and production oversight.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Build and execute integrated go-to-market strategies aligned to regional and global priorities that shift advertiser perceptions and behaviors across some of Pinterest's largest revenue-driving initiatives in the UCAN region, with a primary focus on the U.S. market. This includes project management, content writing, event planning, measurement, and creative and production oversight on assets like videos, direct mail pieces, and sales collateral.
- Lead end-to-end event planning and execution, managing multiple projects at different phases that move the needle for Pinterest Business in the U.S. market.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategy, messaging, creative assets, and marketing materials that resonate with target audiences.
- Measure and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies as needed to achieve business goals.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project execution.
- Leverage AI tools and platforms to accelerate work and impact, finding innovative solutions to marketing and operational challenges through regular, meaningful integration of AI into day-to-day workflows.
- Build and maintain proactive relationships with key stakeholders and external partners.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a B2B role
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as marketing, or equivalent experience
- Experience in integrated marketing, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful activations across a variety of types (i.e., executive engagement, event planning, go-to-market initiatives)
- Strong event planning and management experience, with the ability to oversee end-to-end execution of industry events and experiential activations
- Exemplary project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across different phases
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop compelling content and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong strategic planning skills, with the ability to translate business priorities into actionable marketing plans aligned to organizational goals
- Solid analytical skills, with the ability to measure and analyze marketing effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations
- Experience working meaningfully with AI tools and platforms to drive efficiency and innovative solutions
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Tailor your portfolio to Pinterest's aesthetic-first brand
Pinterest prioritizes marketers who understand visual discovery and creator-led growth. Show campaign work that drove measurable outcomes on platforms or formats where imagery and inspiration are central. Generic digital marketing experience won't stand out here.
Identify which Marketing track needs sponsorship
Pinterest hires across brand, performance, and product marketing. Sponsorship decisions often hinge on the team's budget and headcount, not just the role. Target postings that have been open longer, which often signals genuine hiring pressure and more flexibility on sponsorship.
Time your OPT application to align with your job search
If you're on F-1 status, USCIS recommends applying for OPT up to 90 days before your program end date. Starting your Pinterest application process while OPT is pending gives you a clean authorization window before an H-1B cap-subject petition would be needed.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Pinterest Marketing roles by visa type
Not all Pinterest job postings specify sponsorship availability. Use Migrate Mate to filter open Marketing roles at Pinterest by the visa types they support, so you're only spending time on positions that match your immigration status.
Negotiate your start date around H-1B cap timelines
If you need a cap-subject H-1B, USCIS only processes new petitions for an October 1 start, with the lottery in March. Discuss this timeline with your Pinterest recruiter early so your offer letter and start date reflect the actual availability window.

Find Marketing at Pinterest JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Pinterest sponsor H-1B visas for Marketings?
Yes, Pinterest sponsors H-1B visas for Marketing roles. Because Marketing positions are classified as specialty occupations requiring a relevant bachelor's degree or higher, they meet the baseline threshold USCIS uses to evaluate H-1B eligibility. If you need a cap-subject H-1B, your petition would enter the annual lottery with an earliest start date of October 1.
Which visa types does Pinterest sponsor for Marketing roles?
Pinterest sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, F-1 OPT, and Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for Marketing positions. Australian citizens should ask specifically about the E-3, which has no lottery and moves faster than the H-1B. Canadian and Mexican nationals working in qualifying marketing roles may also be eligible for TN status.
What qualifications does Pinterest expect for sponsored Marketing roles?
Most sponsored Marketing roles at Pinterest require a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, plus demonstrated experience in areas like growth, brand strategy, creative operations, or performance analytics. Pinterest's product sits at the intersection of search and social, so experience with visual content strategy or creator ecosystems tends to strengthen applications significantly.
How do I apply for Marketing jobs at Pinterest?
You can browse and apply through Pinterest's careers page, but not all postings clearly indicate visa sponsorship availability. Migrate Mate lets you filter open Pinterest Marketing roles specifically by visa type, so you can target positions that match your immigration status before applying. Once you have an offer, Pinterest's in-house immigration team or outside counsel typically handles the filing process directly.
How do I plan my timeline if I need sponsorship for a Pinterest Marketing role?
Timeline depends on your visa type. F-1 OPT gives you up to 12 months of work authorization with a STEM extension available in some marketing analytics roles. E-3 and TN petitions can move within weeks of an offer. Cap-subject H-1B petitions require a March lottery with an October 1 start, so factor at least six months of lead time into your job search if that's your path.
