How to Get Visa Sponsorship in SurveyMonkey Visa Sponsorship USA
Research their product and platform before applying
SurveyMonkey operates in a competitive SaaS market. Interviewers expect candidates to understand the platform, its use cases, and how your role contributes to product growth, especially in technical and customer-facing positions.
Apply during fall recruiting cycles
Technology companies like SurveyMonkey tend to hire most actively in the fall, aligning with H-1B cap season planning for the following April. Applying between September and November improves your chances of being considered before sponsorship decisions are made.
Filter for verified sponsors before you apply
Not every job posting signals real sponsorship willingness. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, saving time and targeting companies like SurveyMonkey that have an active track record.
Tailor your resume to SurveyMonkey's tech stack
SurveyMonkey is a data-driven SaaS company. Highlighting experience with survey tools, data pipelines, or customer analytics platforms makes your application more relevant and signals you can contribute immediately, a factor that matters when sponsorship is on the table.

Does SurveyMonkey sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, SurveyMonkey sponsors H-1B visas. The company has a consistent history of H-1B filings, primarily for technical roles in software engineering and related disciplines. If you're targeting SurveyMonkey for H-1B sponsorship, focus your applications on engineering and product teams where sponsorship is most commonly supported.
Which visa types does SurveyMonkey sponsor?
SurveyMonkey sponsors H-1B visas and supports F-1 OPT for students and recent graduates. The company also has a track record with TN visas, which are available to Canadian and Mexican nationals working in qualifying professional roles. Green Card sponsorship has not been a consistent part of their recent filings.
Which departments or roles at SurveyMonkey are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at SurveyMonkey is most common in technical departments, particularly software engineering, data engineering, and product development. These roles align with the H-1B specialty occupation criteria and represent the core of where the company hires internationally. Sales, marketing, and operations roles are less frequently sponsored.
How do I find open sponsored roles at SurveyMonkey?
Migrate Mate lists open roles at verified sponsoring companies, including SurveyMonkey, filtered by visa type and sponsorship history. This saves you from applying to roles where sponsorship is uncertain. Look specifically for software and product roles, which represent SurveyMonkey's strongest sponsorship activity in the Technology & Software sector.
How do I time my application to SurveyMonkey around the H-1B cap cycle?
The H-1B lottery opens in March, with petitions filed shortly after. SurveyMonkey, like most technology companies, needs to make sponsorship decisions well before that window. Aim to secure an offer between October and January so your employer has adequate time to prepare your petition. Starting interviews in September increases your chances of hitting this timeline.
