Align your HR credentials to U.S. standards
Wipro's HR roles often require familiarity with U.S. employment law, HRIS platforms like Workday, and compliance frameworks. Certifications like SHRM-CP or PHR signal readiness for a U.S. HR function and strengthen your visa petition's specialty occupation case.
Target Wipro's HR Business Partner pipeline
Wipro frequently hires HR Business Partners to support its technology delivery teams. These roles have clear degree requirements in Human Resources or a related field, which matters for H-1B specialty occupation determinations and makes your petition easier to support.
Search open HR roles through Migrate Mate
Wipro's HR openings that include sponsorship are not always easy to identify on general job boards. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Wipro Human Resources roles with visa sponsorship, so you're only applying where a real pathway exists.
Understand Wipro's LCA filing obligations before your interview
Wipro must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before sponsoring your H-1B. Knowing this process lets you ask informed questions about timeline and role location, since LCAs are worksite-specific and affect how quickly sponsorship can begin.
Clarify OPT STEM extension eligibility early
HR roles in a technology company can qualify for a 24-month STEM OPT extension if your degree is in a STEM-designated field such as organizational behavior or industrial-organizational psychology. Confirm your degree's CIP code with your DSO before your offer stage.
Ask about PERM timing during the offer negotiation
Wipro sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards for some HR roles, but PERM labor certification timelines at the DOL currently run over a year. Raising this during negotiation, not after you start, gives you a clearer picture of your long-term immigration path.

Find Human Resources at Wipro JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Wipro sponsor H-1B visas for Human Resources roles?
Yes, Wipro sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying Human Resources positions. HR roles must meet the specialty occupation standard, meaning the position typically requires a bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Roles like HR Business Partner or Talent Acquisition Specialist generally satisfy this requirement, though Wipro will assess each position individually before filing.
Which visa types does Wipro commonly use for Human Resources positions?
Wipro sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT and CPT visas for Human Resources roles, as well as EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa pathways for longer-term employees. Australian citizens can pursue the E-3 as a direct alternative to the H-1B lottery. Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying HR occupations may be eligible for TN status under USMCA.
How do I apply for Human Resources jobs at Wipro?
You can search for open Human Resources positions at Wipro through Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for roles that include visa sponsorship so you're not sorting through listings that won't support your immigration status. Apply directly through Wipro's careers portal once you identify a role. Tailor your resume to reflect U.S. HR frameworks, compliance experience, and any HRIS platforms Wipro uses, such as Workday.
What qualifications does Wipro expect for sponsored Human Resources roles?
Wipro's HR roles typically require a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a closely related field. For mid-to-senior positions, experience supporting HR functions within a large technology or professional services environment is expected. Credentials like SHRM-CP, PHR, or demonstrated experience with U.S. employment law and HRIS systems strengthen both your application and the underlying visa petition.
How do I plan the timeline for H-1B sponsorship at Wipro?
The H-1B cap lottery opens in March each year for an October 1 start date, so aligning your offer and onboarding timeline around this window matters. If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your OPT expiration and whether a STEM extension is available to bridge any gap. USCIS premium processing is available and reduces adjudication to roughly 15 business days, which Wipro may offer depending on the role and start date urgency.
