Recruiting for this role ends on 6/30/2026.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Total Rewards Benefits Operate Manager, you will lead work at the intersection of H&W benefits strategy, administration operations, and enabling technology. You'll help clients and internal teams translate benefits requirements into scalable platform capabilities—understanding what leading benefits administration providers can deliver, how HCM platforms connect to those ecosystems, and what it takes to drive successful implementation and ongoing operations. This will be achieved either through use of Deloitte's proprietary BenefitIQ technology or an HCM solution as appropriate.
You'll be accountable for delivering high-quality outcomes, managing teams and stakeholders, and shaping product-enabled solutions that improve member experience, administrative efficiency, and compliance-aligned execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead delivery workstreams supporting BenefitsIQ-enabled H&W programs (e.g., discovery, solution design, implementation support, optimization, operations readiness).
- Translate H&W benefit requirements into administration-ready designs (eligibility, enrollment, life events, evidence of insurability, deductions, billing, vendor feeds, reporting).
- Partner with product and delivery teams to define and refine platform features, configuration standards, and repeatable assets.
- Advise on end-to-end H&W administration capabilities across traditional provider platforms (e.g., enrollment experience, rules engines, eligibility, communications, carrier connectivity).
- Guide decisions on vendor/platform fit based on client context, administrative complexity, and operating model needs.
- Support operational design including SOPs, roles/responsibilities, case management, escalations, controls, and service metrics.
- Demonstrate a working understanding of core HCM concepts and integration patterns (e.g., worker/benefit event data, payroll deductions, file-based vs API, inbound/outbound feeds).
- Communicate effectively with client stakeholders (HR, Total Rewards, HRIT, Payroll, vendors) and internal leadership.
- Contribute to proposals, estimates, delivery plans, status reporting, and risk/issue management.
- Drive continuous improvement, capturing lessons learned and turning them into reusable playbooks and product backlog items.
THE TEAM
Our Insights, Innovation & Operate Offering is designed to enhance key aspects of our clients' businesses by leveraging cutting-edge technology, data, and a blend of deep technical and human expertise. We innovate and deliver creative, industry-specific solutions that streamline operations and accelerate speed-to-value.

- 4+ years of experience supporting Human Capital Management platform data or payroll integrations for rewards or benefits programs, including eligibility, events, payroll deductions, or file-based exchanges
- 4+ years of experience creating project documents, status reports, analyses, or presentations using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint for client, stakeholder, or leadership audiences
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Align your HR specialty to Deloitte's practice areas
Deloitte's HR hiring skews toward talent acquisition, HR transformation, and workforce strategy rather than generalist roles. Framing your background around one of these disciplines signals fit with the firm's internal HR structure and strengthens your sponsorship case.
Obtain SHRM or HRCI certification before applying
Deloitte's HR roles frequently list SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR certification as preferred qualifications. Holding one before you apply positions your credentials clearly and reduces the documentation burden during any specialty occupation assessment for your visa petition.
Target Deloitte's Talent and Workforce practice openings
Deloitte posts HR roles across both its internal people function and client-facing Talent and Workforce consulting practice. Client-facing roles often carry stronger specialty occupation arguments because the degree-to-role connection is more direct and better documented in the LCA filing.
Use Migrate Mate to filter verified HR openings at Deloitte
Sorting through Deloitte's job board for sponsorship-eligible HR postings is time-consuming. Migrate Mate filters verified roles by visa type and employer, so you can identify which Deloitte HR openings are open to sponsored candidates before you apply.
Prepare for a longer offer-to-start timeline at consulting firms
At firms like Deloitte, HR offer letters often precede the LCA filing by several weeks. USCIS standard processing can take three to five months, so negotiating a start date that accounts for this window prevents you from starting before your petition is approved.

Find Human Resources at Deloitte JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Deloitte sponsor H-1B visas for Human Resources roles?
Yes, Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas for Human Resources positions. The firm has a well-established sponsorship infrastructure and files petitions across multiple visa categories for HR professionals. Sponsorship is not automatic, so you should confirm with your recruiter early in the process that the specific role you're applying for is open to H-1B candidates.
How do I apply for Human Resources jobs at Deloitte?
You can search and apply for Human Resources roles directly through Deloitte's careers site, or browse sponsorship-eligible openings on Migrate Mate, which filters Deloitte's HR postings by visa type. Deloitte's HR hiring process typically involves a recruiter screen, competency-based interviews, and a final round with HR leadership. Tailoring your application to the specific HR specialty the role covers, such as talent acquisition or HR business partnering, improves your chances of moving forward.
Which visa types does Deloitte sponsor for Human Resources positions?
Deloitte sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, and employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for HR roles. Australian citizens should ask specifically about the E-3 visa, which bypasses the H-1B lottery and is processed directly through a U.S. consulate in Australia. H-1B1 is available to citizens of Chile and Singapore under similar terms.
What qualifications does Deloitte expect for sponsored Human Resources roles?
Most of Deloitte's HR roles require a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a closely related field. Advanced degrees or certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR are frequently preferred. For visa sponsorship purposes, your degree must align with the specific HR function of the role, which matters when Deloitte files the Labor Condition Application with DOL.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take after receiving a Deloitte HR offer?
After an offer is accepted, Deloitte's immigration team typically begins the Labor Condition Application process with DOL, which takes around seven business days for standard certification. The USCIS H-1B petition filing follows, with standard processing taking three to five months. If your timeline is tight, ask whether the firm will use premium processing, which reduces USCIS adjudication to 15 business days.
