Frame your degree around specialty occupation standards
Deloitte's Sales roles in consulting often require a degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Before applying, confirm your credentials clearly map to the role's specialty occupation definition, since USCIS scrutinizes client-facing positions more than technical ones.
Target Deloitte's industry-aligned sales teams
Deloitte organizes its Sales function by industry vertical, including financial services, government, and technology. Applying to a team where your sector background matches their client portfolio strengthens both your candidacy and the specialty occupation argument in your visa petition.
Search verified sponsoring Sales roles on Migrate Mate
Filter Sales openings at Deloitte by visa type on Migrate Mate to surface roles where sponsorship is confirmed, so you're not spending time on positions that won't support an H-1B or E-3 petition from the start.
Align your timeline to Deloitte's annual recruiting cycles
Deloitte runs structured hiring cycles tied to the H-1B cap deadline of April 1. Starting conversations with recruiters in the fourth quarter of the prior year gives your petition time to be prepared and submitted without rushing premium processing.
Prepare evidence of client-facing impact, not just activity
USCIS and Deloitte's immigration team both benefit from documentation showing measurable outcomes, such as revenue attributed to your pipeline work or accounts you've expanded. Quantified results make a stronger specialty occupation case than titles or task lists alone.

Find Sales at Deloitte JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Deloitte sponsor H-1B visas for Sales roles?
Yes, Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas for Sales positions, though the process depends on the specific role and business unit. Client-facing Sales roles in consulting typically qualify as specialty occupations, which is the threshold USCIS requires. Deloitte's in-house immigration team manages petitions directly, so the process is more structured than at smaller firms.
How do I apply for Sales jobs at Deloitte?
Applications go through Deloitte's careers portal, but roles that actively sponsor visas are not always labeled clearly. Migrate Mate filters Deloitte's open Sales positions by visa type, letting you identify which roles support H-1B, E-3, or other sponsorship before you apply. Tailoring your application to a specific industry vertical within Deloitte's Sales structure improves your chances significantly.
Which visa types does Deloitte commonly use for Sales roles?
Deloitte sponsors H-1B and H-1B1 visas for most international Sales hires, along with the E-3 for Australian citizens. For longer-term employees, Deloitte also initiates Green Card sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process under EB-2 or EB-3 categories, depending on the role's educational requirements and the employee's qualifications.
What qualifications does Deloitte expect for sponsored Sales positions?
Deloitte's Sales roles in consulting typically require a bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field, along with demonstrated experience in solution selling or account management within a professional services context. Client industry knowledge, particularly in financial services, technology, or government sectors, carries significant weight during the hiring process and supports the specialty occupation determination for visa purposes.
How do I manage the timeline between a Deloitte offer and my visa filing?
If you're on OPT or another work authorization, factor in the H-1B cap deadline when negotiating your start date. USCIS opens H-1B registration in early March each year, with cap-subject petitions filed by April 1 for an October 1 start. Deloitte's immigration team typically moves quickly once an offer is finalized, but you should raise your visa situation with your recruiter early to avoid timing gaps.
